We hop into mine and Summer's red convertible and head towards Cali Mall.

Once we get there, we head to Dorothy Perkins. Nothing good there. Then to Zara. No good, either. Then H&M. Perfect. Summer got a red strapless dress that flows to her knees. I got a turquoise dress with wide straps. It just reaches my knees and has a golden braided belt at the waist.

"We need to find you a date," says Summer.

"Ha! No way."

Summer frowns. "Pleaaase?"

"No." I say firmly.

"Fine. But if you run into a cute guy, and he seems nice, will you invite him to me and River's date? Like...for a double date?"

"Ugh. Fine." I sigh.

"Yay!"

"Now let's go home." I start walking backwards while talking to Summer. She suddenly starts to try not to laugh.

"What?" Just as I whip around, I bump into someone and fall to the ground.

"I'm so sorry!" Exclaims the boy as he offers me a hand up.

"No, it's ok. It was my fault, I-I wasn't looking." I say.

"I really am sorry. Can I make it up to you?" The boy's hat is covering his face. Suddenly, he lifts his head up. I gasp.

"Oh I uh...I...No, it's-it's ok."

"Hey, thanks for not screaming." he says. I laugh.

"Anytime."

"Well, it was nice running into you." he stares into my eyes for about ten seconds. I blush. He starts to walk away.

"Wait! Would you like to...maybe...go get some food tonight?"

"Sure!"

"Okay, meet me on Anderson Lane at six?"

"Sounds great!" And with that, he walks away.

I just got a date with Josh Hutcherson.
