Chapter Three:
I ignore her and walk to my cabin. I get in and close the door behind me. Finally some peace and quiet. Suddenly screams fill the air, or not... I sigh. I walked out of my cabin and looked around seeing everyone at Taylor's Cabin. I head over that way, to not look like a bitch. Gabby was screaming and Xane was holding onto her stroking her hair in attempts to calm her down. I move into the cabin. There lies the lifeless body of none other than Taylor. She wore a terrified look, god that must have sucked. I looked at her body a little more, I saw a spear plunged into her stomach area.
Why didn't she call for help? That I am unable to answer. She probably thought it was one of the guys that wanted to take advantage of her, she thought wrong.
"Thank god, one less person to handle. Just need Dylan to go," I thought to myself.
"Amy, you aren't upset about this," Xane asked.
"No, she deserved it," I say turning to leave the cabin.
"Amy, can I stay with you tonight. So this way this doesn't happen to either of us," Gabby asks before I had the chance to fully leave the cabin.
I turn around and face her and sigh.
"Sure why not," I respond.
"Thank you," Gabby yells before running to her cabin to change into pajamas.
"Amy, I don't want anything to happen to you nor Gabby. So please stay safe," Xane says.
"I will and I will keep an eye on Gabby when we get to the cabin," I say before hugging him good night.
He hugs back and pull away and leave the cabin. I walk back to my cabin closing the door behind me. I closed the curtains and change into a tank top and pajama shorts. Sudden jolt of alarm hits me when I hear a knock at the cabin door.
"Gabby, it's open," I say thinking it's her.
The door opens, wrong person. It was Xane.
"Oh, hey Xane. What's up," I say.
He gives me an unrecognizable look. I look at him in confusion.
"You okay, Xane," I ask taking a couple steps back.
He didn't respond. I didn't waste anymore time and ran to the back door and tried to open it. The lock was jammed.
"Amelia, don't you want me back. How about, if you can escape me I won't have my fun," Xane says in a husky voice.
This caused me to panic. I began struggling with the lock some more, it finally came loose and allowed me to unlock it. I opened the door quickly and ran out closing the door behind me. I ran towards the docks, shit. I turn around to run back, but someone was blocking my way. A tall muscular guy wearing a hockey mask was in my way. I took a couple steps back, now I was on the ledge. The man took a couple steps toward me. I looked behind me, the water. I don't want to go out like Jason. I couldn't say anything, my words were suck. I couldn't call for help or anything.
Memories flood my head. Well the one when I tried to save Jason from drowning. I look at the man. Now I see a machete. I look at him a little longer.
"Go ahead and do it," I say he approached me putting his machete in the air. "I deserve it for not being able to save my friend Jason from drowning. So I should be dead for not saving him," I say tears threatening to spill. The man stopped and put the arm holding the weapon to his side, tilting his head to the side.
I close my eyes waiting for impact. It never came, I open my eyes seeing the weapon on the bridge of the docks tilting his head to the side. That's something Jason did when I said something should have happened to me and not him.
"Jason," I ask approaching him.
