Chapter 8

                 (An Hour Later)

Lexie began to regain conciousness as she noticed she was laying on a bed.It wasn't her bed though.Before she knew it,she could tell she was in someone else's home.Lexie tried to move but saw her wrists were tied to the posts of the bed.She began to struggle & tried to scream,only to see her mouth was taped.Gavin then appeared in the doorway as he quickly walked over to the left side of the bed & kneeled down near Lexie."Shhhhhhh...."Gavin said as started stroking Lexie's face to calm her down.She ignored his commands as she continued to scream & struggle.He then climbed onto the bed & ontop of Lexie as he finally forced her to calm down.She stopped struggling as she looked at Gavin with tears filling her eyes."Sweetie,I know this may seem scary but,you need to understand that I'm not gonna hurt you & this is your new home..."Gavin spoke as he stayed ontop of Lexie & looked down at her.She then began to whimper through the tape as tears streamed down her face."Aw,darling...Please don't cry...I promise I won't hurt you... Besides,we belong together...Forever & alone..."He said as he wiped away the oncoming tears."Lexie...I'll take the tape off your mouth but,you need to promise me you won't scream...Ok?"Gavin spoke.Lexie then nodded her head as she sniffled.Gavin then started slowly taking the tape off her mouth before it finally came off.Lexie breathed heavily in relief.Gavin then got off of Lexie & the bed as he sat the piece of tape on his nightstand,just in case he needed it again."Gavin...Please...Just let me go...I promise I won't tell anybody about anything...Just please,let me go..."Lexie pleaded. Gavin sighed as he then sat near Lexie on the bed."I can't do that...If I let you go,it would ruin everything I worked for.You see Lexie,I've had this day planned for weeks...Once my feelings for you became drastically higher,I couldn't help but try to get your love.I did abunch of research on you...I know everything about you.I even know your allergies...& your fears...That same night,I wrote that letter & the next day,I left it on your car to find.& Ofcourse,I broke into your apartment..."He spoke as he chuckled."Can I see those pictures you were talking about?"Lexie asked,wanting to know how many pictures this creep took of her.Gavin smiled widely as he rubbed her cheek."Ofcourse you can..."He said before getting up from the bed & walking out the room.Lexie began struggling to get loose again as she felt one of the tapes coming loose.She was hoping that one tape would hopefully come loose before Gavin came back.Thankfully,it did.She then used her free hand to take off the other tape that strapped her other wrist & finally got it free.

Gavin was looking all over the place for his cellphone but he just couldn't find it.As he continued looking,he then realized it had probably fallen out of his pocket somewhere in Lexie's apartment."Dammit..."Gavin said to himself."Looks like I'll need to get it tomorrow when I go by there & get some clothes & items for Lexie..."Gavin said to himself as he then started walking back to his bedroom."Sweetie,I think I accidentally left my phone back at you-."Gavin said as he walked into the bedroom & froze as he saw Lexie was gone."Lexie?!Lexie?!"Gavin yelled as he started looking for her all over the room.Out of nowhere,Lexie struck him from behind with a old lamp she had found under his bed.Gavin collapsed on the floor in pain as Lexie then threw down the lamp as she dashed out the bedroom.Gavin in pure rage,got up & went after Lexie.She finally made it to the front door as she tried to open it,only to see it was locked.Before she could unlock it,Gavin grabs her by the hair & throws her down on the ground.He then proceeded to get ontop of her & began choking her.She then proceeded to try to punch him as she began to lose oxygen.Before Gavin knew it,he was trying to kill her as he then stopped himself from choking her.She laid there & coughed as he took his hands away from her throat.He then got off from ontop of her as he looked at her with sorrow in his eyes.She continued laying there as she caught her breathe."I'm so sorry,sweetheart...I promise I won't do it again..."He said as he then pulled Lexie into a hug.She just sat there as she was still in fear & shock.
