She was the first to escape the room. There was no lock, no secret traps and no hidden doors. All she had to do was flip the right switch. The room lead into a corridor, with white washed walls and flickering green lights every foot apart. On either side of the corridor were doors... She counted one... two... three... four... five... six... So she much have been seven.
She wondered if on the other side of each door there was somone like her. Another person scared, alone and with no memories to help them understand. If they were like her and had no memories then they'd have no names as well.
Perhaps they were waiting on the other side for someone to let them out, to tell them their names. If so, then she would be that person. She... No, from now on she was Seven.
