First Date.....Yaaaay..... I Think.

( Gavin's  P.O.V)

I was freakin out when I got home.  I had asked Sawyer out on a date and was taking her to the State Fair in Littleton.  On my way home I stopped by the mall and bought blue hair dye.  When I got home I went to take a shower.  I throughly washed my hair and then stood in frony of the mirror in my boxers.  I shaved and dried my hair a little more then dyed the tips of my hair.  I sat on my bed and thought about what to wear. I went with black jeans, aqua blue tee, gray hoodie, and black DC hi tops.  I had a light snack then started for Sawyers.

( Sawyer's P.O.V.)

Meanwhile in Sawyers Room...................

Oh Sweet Jesus!  I have my first date with Gavin tonight.  The first thing I did when I got home was ask my mom if I could go,  then I ran downstairs to take a shower.  I then picked out a green tee-shirt, faded blue jeans, and my black hi tops.  I ran upstairs and waited for Gavin to come.  Ally came downstairs and glared at me.

" Why have you been ignoring me and glaring at me all day?" I asked.

"Because I know about you and Gavin.  I don't know why he would ask you out.  Your just a freak that has issues.  He probably just feels sorry for you.  Anyway, where are you going?"

" Gavin is taking me to the fair in Littleton. I'm really excited ."

Just then Gavin pulled into the diveway.  I grabbed my phone, batman snapback,  and ran out the door. 

" Hey!" I said jumping into the front seat.

"Hey." he said.

Gavin drives a 1969 Boss Patriot. LOOOVE IIITT! We talked about our school day for part of the way there, then sat in silence.

( Gavin's P.O.V.)

The fair was awesome.  We were going from ride to ride trying them all.  Sawyer was fearless running up to the tallest, loopiest, and fastest  rides first.

"Can we take a break from the rides Sawyer?" I whined

"Okay, what do you want to do then?" she asked.

"uhhh..... how about a couple of arcade games?"

"Sure. How about archery ?"

"Sure."

Apparently she is good at everything.  She won three mega prizes. We played many of the games and she won prizes from all of them while I won nothing.  She was a fun person to be around, but we had to step out to the parking lot so she could calm down, then she proceeded to have an  argument with absolutely no one.  Apparently the person's name was Edward and he likes to pester her.  Hey, I said I didn't mind and I don't.

"How are you winning at all of these games?" I asked

"I know how the games work.  They're all rigged hon."

"Well then.  Should we get going? It's almost Ten O' Clock."

" We have one more ride to go on."

"And what is it?"

" The Bone Shaker." She said grinning dementedly.

"Oh No!  I completely and utterly refuse to go on that ride."

"Are you scared of that ride?"

I nodded my head yes.

"Come on please can we go."

"No."

"Please, please, please,  pretty please with sugar on top, please!" she begged.

"Fine." I said scowling.

(Sawyer's P.O.V.)

Gavin was so hilarious on the Bone shaker.  He had his eyes closed the whole Time and was gripping the safety bar so hard his knuckles were white.  The ride lasted about five minutes and was totally awesome.  It was about 300 feet at the tallest peak and was about two miles around not counting the length of the loop-the-loops and corkscrews and many other twists and turns.  when the ride ended I was laughing like an idiot and Gavin was breathing really hard.  We walked to the car and sat  on the hood.

"So the ride wasn't that bad was it?"  I asked.

" I guess not, but I still don't want to ride it again."

" okay." Then I had a thought, and I wasn't sure if I wanted to ask.  I did anyway. "Gavin,  um, why, uh, did you ask me out?"

" Because I like you.  I wanted toget to know you and give you a chance.  And I know that it's wierd since you're 12 and I'm 15 but I don't really care."

I blushed and looked down.  My heart was racing and i was trying to figure out how to respond.   I wanted to let him know that I liked him too.  I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out.  I blinked a few times and took a deep breath.  I looked at him and smiled.  He smiled back.  I leaned closer to him and pressed my lips to his.  I felt him tense up then relax.

I will say this once in a milion times, haviing a boyfriend is AWESOME.
