Karina kept retreating as Caleb kept advancing towards her. Unfortunately for her, he had her trapped with her back against the wall.
Karina stood looking at her feet too ashamed to look Caleb in the face. He roughly placed his finger under chin forcing her to look in the eyes. "You are clearly a piece of work. For three months I begged you to forgive me. Yes, I made a mistake. I broke our marriage vows. I cheated on you. I don't know why I did it. I asked you to go to marriage counselling with me and you refused. You acted the part of the hurt and betrayed wife well. I never thought that you would cheat on me and furthermore have unprotected sex with the bastard. You are just as guilty as me."
"No Caleb, please let me ....." He tightened his grip on her chin and said with hatred and comtempt, "No baby girl, I'm finished trying to please you. I'm finished apologising. I'm finished listening to your lies. I'm finished with your lying, cheating ass. You can have your divorce so you and your boy-toy can be together. The two of you all deserve each other."
With that he stormed out of the house leaving her in tears.
