I lay my head on his shoulder. This was the closest we had been sense he asked me out. My heart was racing just being in the same room as him, you couldn't imagine what being this close was doing to me.
"So, what movie do you want to watch?"
He asked standing and walking to the movie case, my heart sank a little because of the distance.
"I don't really care, as long as I'm with you."
Wait, I just said that, didn't I?
"Okay."
He grabbed a movie and put it into the DVD player. He sat back down next to me as the TV came on and previews for movies began flashing by. But I wasn't really paying attention to them. He grabbed my hand and rested his and mine on my leg. My heart beat faster as I lay my head back on his shoulder and he rested his head against mine.
"I love you."
It was the first time he had ever said it. I raised my head and looked at him funny.
"Don't ever say that unless you mean it?"
"But I do mean it, I love you."
"Are you sure? I mean I'm weird and annoying and boring mostly and..."
He placed his lips on mine, stealing my first kiss, but I didn't mind. His lips were soft and smooth, and they tasted like my raspberry chapstick. He never wears chapstick, he hates it. Little bastard used my chapstick! I smiled into the kiss and he pulled away slowly, yet still too quickly for me. I frowned playfully. He chuckled.
"What?"
"Best moment ever and you have to ruin it by making me think about why the hell you would use my chapstick."
He laughs and kisses me again, this time I'm ready, but I pull away first.
"I love you, too."
