It was 6 am Saturday and Opal was still asleep beside me. At this point she was wrapped into her blanket and I was just sitting up hugging my knees to my chest. All I could think about was what happened. No mercy. No reluctance. No pity. Just lust. I was virgin and he took that from me. I've had other horrid instances of my life but I won't bring that up now.. I don't know how anyone could be so cruel. Next thing I know is I start crying and I can't stop. I was so tired but I had only slept for two hours still in shock and trauma. That's when Opal started waking up. "Elizabeth...? What are you doing up, you really need to sleep bugga boo" she cooed. "I can't. I don't know what to do" "Elizabeth, let me tell you something. I had a roommate before you. Her name was Sierra. She was my best friend. Dark red hair, green eyes, pale skin with minimum freckles but she was beautiful with curves, not too thin but not too big and guys gawked at her uniqueness. Chris came into the picture and they started dating within two weeks she had told me Chris wanted to have sex because he loves her. She didn't at all but by the weekend he raped her too, she told Ricky's mom and they tried to get rid of him but that's when Chris held a gun to Ricky's head and almost killed him. Since then Mrs. Olson is terrified to confront Chris or he will kill her son. I wish we could do something but we can't and I'm so sorry. After that Sierra killed herself. Never found her body. I'm sorry. She left a note and never came back. Her pills were missing and there was blood as well. It's hell with him here" Opal explained. I cried again due to the trapped feeling I got.
