"Though the road's been rocky it sure feels good to me." ~Bob Marley

The fourth day in this domain goes by slowly, mainly because we had to walk practically all day. My feet feel as if they might fall off and don't even get me started on my back. I see the gates to the Domain of Abathar Muzania. It makes me want to run to it, anything to get out of this domain.

Ryder is still helping me walk but at least today, I can somewhat stand on my own. When we reach the gate, we notice that it is guarded by another Fairy.

"Welcome to the Gate of the Domain of Abathar Muzania," she says in a high voice. Do most Fairies have high voices? "My name is Nicollete and I need to know your names." We all go around, saying our names. "Wonderful! Now, in order to pass through this gate, each of you must tell me your deepest desire or wish," Nicollete explains. "Let's start with Adaline."

I walk, with Ryder's help, up to the Fairy. "Now tell me your deepest desire," she says with a smile. The smile is not kind nor menacing. It is an empty smile.

I start to open my mouth to tell her but she stops me. "Oh, no," she says. "I will know by holding your hand, Adaline. Then, and only then, will I truly know your deepest desire."

Nicollete takes my right hand and holds it with both of her's. She closes her eyes, as if she is in deep thought and not to be disturbed. I don't think of anything in particular which I don't know if I should do or not.

"How interesting," she comments after a couple seconds. "Is that all you truly desire?"

"What is it that I desire?" I ask, not actually knowing exactly.

"Happiness," she says, opening her eyes and looking directly at me. "But you do not know what makes you happy but you know, subconsciously, that it is someone who is a friend. I don't know their name or I would tell you."

Nicollete lets go of my hand and takes Blaze's.

"What is her name?" She asks.

"Vivian," he replies.

"You just want her to be happy. How sweet of you!" She exclaims. She moves onto Phoebe. "You want nothing. I have never seen that," she says in partial shock before letting go of Phoebe's hand.

Next is Ryder. He hesitantly gives her his hand. "You want so much," she comments. "You want your family and friends to be safe, completely out of danger but you also want something else. It is love. You are falling in love, Ryder. You don't realize it, but you are."

He yanks his hand away. "Are we allowed to go through?" He asks, coldness in his voice.

"How rude of you!" She exclaims, anger brewing in her voice. "You shall pay for that, Warrior."

"What are you going to do?" He asks without fear.

"I shall tell you your future but only the part that will hurt you the most," she says almost with glee.

Nicollete takes his hand back and pure fear rushes through his face. His face turns white and his eyes immediately look to Phoebe with love but sadness.

"No," he whispers with anger, fear, and sadness rolled into one.
