-----Annabelle's POV-----

In front of me stood Zayn Malik of One Direction. I had forgotten they were in out little town already. I just stood there in shock. He walked over and picked up my camera, brushed it off, and gave it back to me.

"I didn't realize you Americans said 'prick'." He said with a slight smirk.

"Bad habit." I muttered, looking down as I blushed. "Sorry for calling you that."

"Sorry for interrupting your concentration." He responded with a smirk. "So what are you doing out here so late?"

It wasn't until then that I realized it was already well past dark. "What time is it?" I asked quickly.

"About nine thirty or so."

"Shit! I'm going to be in so much trouble!" I started in the direction of the house.

"Wait! What's your name?" Zayn yelled after me.

"Annabelle, Annabelle Kingston!" I yelled back over my shoulder as I ran.

When I walked in the front door I saw an extra pair of converse. I brushed it off and quickly de-bundled. I ran into the kitchen and started making myself a cup of tea. I grabbed my tea and headed up to my room.

"Kiddo?" Eric called from his room.

"Yeah?" I asked, backing up so I could see him.

"There's something Sammie and I would like to talk to you about later. Oh, and someone is here to see you." I nodded and went to my room. When I opened the door, I froze.

"Hey." Trent stood up from my bed and looked at me before continuing. "I brought you your homework since you weren't in class today." I just nodded stiffly. "Look, I'm sorry. Yesterday I figured you would give up and walk home after like an hour."

"I didn't."

"I know."

A silence fell over us. It was comfortable, nor was it awkward. Just silent. I looked anywhere except at Trent. I heard him sigh before he walked over to me. He pulled me into a tight hug. We stayed like that for a minute before I returned it.

"What happened to us?" Trent mumbled. I pulled away from him and shrugged. "What do you say to a movie night tonight? For old times sake. It's a Friday."

"Sure. I pick the movies though." I said thinking back to our last movie night and how he pick scary movies.

"Deal."

We went downstairs and he went to get the popcorn while I got the movie ready.

"Despicable Me? Really?" Trent laughed as he walked in with popcorn, candy, and sodas.

"It's awesome so shut it. Got enough food?" I shot back.

I was about to press play when Sammie walked in. "Annabelle, my cousin and a few of his friends are going to be staying with us. They come in the morning."

"Okay!" I said not really paying much attention to what she said.

Trent and I got through Despicable Me, Tangled, Finding Nemo, and Toy Story before we fell asleep like usual.

I woke up to the early morning light shinning through one of the windows. As I sat up, I noticed Trent was no longer next to me. The delicious smell of bacon from the kitchen wafted down the stairs to me. I got up and followed the heavenly smell and saw that Sammie had made a huge buffet style breakfast.

"Grab a plate Annabelle!" Eric said loading his up with some pancakes.

"Where's Trent?" I asked only grabbing an apple.

"He already took off this morning. Said he wasn't planning on staying the night last night."

"Oh." I mumbled. I put down the apple I hadn't even taken a bite of yet because I suddenly wasn't hungry anymore. "I'm going to go shower."

"Make it quick. Don't forget my cousin and his friends a coming anytime now!" Sammie reminded me. I nodded before going up to my room.
