i closed my eyes for a second and i swear it's saturday now and i'm getting ready for my date with Shaheer. i decided to ditch the 'sugarh bachi' looks and just wear a sweatshirt and jeans with my hair that were cut in a pixie cut 6 months ago just fall loose like fluffy cotton candy. i wear no makeup because i suck at it, and yeah it feels good to be back in my normal sense.i go downstairs and i yell for mama, claiming myself as ready. she was making rotian and she comes out the kitchen with the rolling pin in her hands and just as she sets her eyes on me, the rolling pin drops harder than the beat in those chainsmokers songs.
'haw haye! maa sadqe jaanwaan. becharey larke ko larki pasand ayi thi, ye khusra nahi.'
'astagfirullah mama. i literally go out like this everyday. and anyway, if someone's going to fall in love with me, might as fall in love with my soul and heart and not the way i look, i mean would you really want to spend your life with a sugar-coated pill?'
mama snorts. 'angrez ki aulaad. facebook pe aise hee cheezain dekhna, kambakht.'
the door bell rings. guess that's my flynn rider because prince charming is overrated. i kiss mama on the cheek and say goodbye to her, she tells me to have a good time. i'll try to be okay, i say. i'll try to breathe.
Shaheer leads me to his car which is a red Honda civic sedan. we're on the way now. he starts off conversation by saying 'hey! i feel pretty weird on a date with a beautiful girl with my mother knowing that i'm completely infatuated with her.'
i giggle, ' oh staaaaahp it, please. i'm not used to flattering.'
'well you're gonna get a lot of that from now on, that is if you're comfortable with it.'
i give him a grin, which is basically a heads up.
A.N: ok so i tried being funny and all that, and my mood has genuinely elevated ?? anyway Shaheer is so cute oml and i'm so excited and i'm just thinking of plot twists and ahsggegegsg stay tuned lovelies and feel free to give feedback ily all.
