"well guys, looks like we're walking to school today." i say unbuckling my seat belt.

for some reason my car wouldn't start.

mikey and jo groan getting out the car.

the school is literally a five minute walk from our apartment complex.

i know what you're thinking, are you that lazy you can't walk to school everyday?

and honestly, yes.

the three of us got out of the car and started our way to school.

"hey, leesi. you're coming to the game tonight right?" mikey asks as we enter the building.

"i wouldn't miss it for the world." i smile at him.

"awesome!" he cheers before running off with his group of friends.

that's something that makes me happy.

you know, seeing my little brother happy. and knowing that i made it happen.

it gives me something to live for.

jodeci and i stood by our lockers talking.

"i know right? i-"

"aye baby."

i was cut off by a voice that made my stomach drop.

i forgot all about last night.

"why are you ignoring me? you can't do that forever."

"yes i can. and i plan to." i mumbled.

i was trying my best not to look him in the eye. i knew if i did it'll only make things worse on my behalf.

"look at me in the eye and tell me you don't want me." jack takes his index finger and lifts my chin, forcing me to look at him.

"i don't want you." i snatched my head away," stop being so full of yourself, you can't get every girl you want gilinsky. just except the fact."

"oh yes i can." he smirks.

"that's false."

"baby, i saw what you could you do last night...how about you come over tonight so i can get a better look." he licks his lips looking me up and down.

"last night? what happened last night?" jo questions confused.

"n-nothing ! he's just delusional." i say quickly.

"you sure about that, babe? i could've sworn i saw y-"

"clearly, you don't know what you're talking about. so just leave me alone." i panicked rushing past him.

i could hear jo running after me.

"kahleesi! what was he talking about?"
