"thank you, next! thank you, next! thank you, next! i'm so fuckin' grateful for my ex!"

mikey and i scream along with ariana grande as we made our way to the mall. 

the music played so loud you could feel the base moving the car. people stared at us like we were crazy but it only made us act crazier.

i laughed stepping out of the car and walking over to his side.

"if you're not back at this car in 2 hours, your ass is getting left."

"yes ma'am" mikey salutes me before running off.

i adjusted my shirt before I walking into the crowded mall. it doesn't matter the day or the time, the mall stayed packed.

that and it is the biggest mall in town.

it had a movie theater, bowling alley, game room and a food court, of course.

i decided to hit up charlotte russe first, it's my favorite store at the moment. along with pacsun.

as i made my way, I heard the loud laughter and yelling from a group of boys.

it was no surprise that gilinsky and his boy toys were causing a scene in the food court.

mentally, i rolled my eyes and sped up my walk to avoid being seen by them.

"kahleesi?" I heard someone call my name.

"oh..hey shawn..."

well this isn't awkward.

shawn and I haven't seen each other since the little incident.

"uh, how you been?" he questions.

"pretty good." I pushed the hair out my face. "and you?"

"good..."

why the hell is it always so weird when I see him?

"well..bye."

i couldn't deal with the tension.

"hey, wait up!" he runs to catch up with me. "i'm sorry, i don't mean to be so awkward. but can you blame me ? it's hard talking to a beautiful girl like you..."

his words make my heart melt, and i could feel my face heating up. i didn't know what to say.

"and i just made it awkward again, sorry."

this boy is absolutely adorable.

"looks like i'm not the one who keeps apologizing now am i ?" i smile.

"yeah, looks like it." he smiles back. "you just have that effect on me."

"oh shut up." i laugh, nudging his side.
