A War Among Rejects

Arvi???

Mad JB's POV

Monique, Greg and I were shocked after knowing that the stranger is Arvi. He used to fight Ruth a lot, wears glasses, and annoying like a real demon.

"Arvi, is that actually you?! Where have you been?! We thought that you were lost or dead!" Monique said.

"Y-you know me? Why can't I remember you? I don't remember any memories of you guys. Sorry, if I can't help you." He apologized.

"Yes Arvi, we know you. You were one of my classmates when I was grade 4. I still have a pic of it on my phone." I said as I showed him a pic.

He was silent. "That's our class pic? I can't see myself." He said.

"Just look for your face. You are probably short that's why."

"JB, that's our class pic last grade 5! Arvi is not our classmate." Monique said. I looked at my phone and it's my grade 5 class pic.

"Oops, wrong pic. Here's the correct one." I changed the pic and showed him the correct one.

He was just staring at it until he had a slight headache, I know it.

"Damn headache." He said.

Monique told Greg to be quick and then 20 seconds later, we are at our base.

I got out of the vehicle and brought Arvi to the clinic. I opened the door and saw Ethan, Rixelle, Venice, and Bea talking to each other. They looked surprised.

"JB, why is the stranger's hair black?" Rixelle asked.

"I will tell you guys something. Just help him with his headache. This talk might worse his condition." I said and went out.

I slid my phone back to my pocket and waited for them. And after 5 minutes, they are out (without Arvi of course).

"What's the matter JB? You look gloomy today." Ethan said. They sat beside me and are ready to listen.

"Guys, the stranger is Arvi. Our old friend." I spoke. They gasped knowing he disappeared.

"How? We knew when one of our school's student died, Arvi disappeared with her without a clue where he gone to!" Rixelle asked.

"I don't know. The thing he calls his 'step dad' might have the reason. Too bad he just killed him earlier." I replied.

"Why don't we try making him remember something. And also, how were you sure he is Arvi?" Bea asks.

"I don't know, but my brain tells me it's him." I answered.

We were thinking and thinking and thinking until we can hear Arvi shouting. AHHHHH!!!!!

We went inside the room and saw Venice trying to comfort him.

"G-g-gosh! I-i-i can se-see an old school. And s-s-some students that are my classmates. But, but, I can't remember their faces." Arvi said as he tries to be calm.

"What else do you see?" Monique asked.

"I saw one guy t-that looks l-like my d-dad and to-ok me a-a-away. He gave me a pill and said "If you don't drink it, I will end you here." so I did! I drank it." He said as there are warm tears flowing down his cheeks.

We brought him to his room to relax. We gave him a notebook and a pen to do something to get rid of the pain. But then before I left, I saw him almost making a comic.

"Hey JB. My friend." He spoke. "I wanna show you something after 5 minutes."

"Sure." I simply replied and left the room. I was wondering what will he draw.

I went to the lab and saw Ethan, Kim, and Rixelle was talking to each other.

"Wow! What's all this talk about? Something important? I will leave if it is." I said as I gripped the doorknob.

"It is actually important JB. But we are okay if you are going to join the talk. We don't mind." Kim replied.

"Also, you might help us with this one." Ethan replied.

I smiled at them. "Sure. What is it about?" I said as I looked for a seat.

Rixelle spoke. "We noticed that Arvi's hair turned black, which how he looks like before. This can be a good effect! Unless..." She stopped.

"Unless what?"

"If they made him drink a pill to make him more powerful. But it might make him forget his past." She continued.

I thought for a moment and remembered that Arvi is making a comic. "I'll be right back." I said and left.

I am back again at Arvi's room where he was just staring at his paper. I looked at it and it's a comic on how he was kidnapped.

He left the classroom after their class. He decided to hangout with two people and Rixelle. Hmmm...I think they are Gabby and Krystel. Rixelle have to be with them because they have to ride the bus together.

After hanging out with them, Arvi got his bag and waited outside the school until a but took him but the guards didn't noticed that.

A stranger told him that he will drive him home. He realized that he went on the wrong way so he told him that he is just gonna walk home. But the stranger didn't let him.

Instead, he told him to drink a pill. He said he will be strong so he did. That's all he what drew.

I was about to ask him if I can show the others but I saw him sleeping on his table. Well then, I'll consider that as a yes.

I took the paper, ran to the lab and showed it to them. They were surprised after knowing he was kidnapped. It's been years since we saw each other.

"I know what to do now." Rixelle said. "We must observe the changes of Arvi as he spend his time here. If we see the original Arvi, then we can find the cure."

"What if the medicines are different?" Kim asked.

"Let's look for the differences. If they match, then we can find the cure! But if they don't, let's look for another way." Ethan replied.

"That's a great one! But when do we begin?" I asked.

"Tomorrow I guess." I replied. "He's sleeping." I added with a whispering voice.

"Oh. Okay." They all replied.

(Wow, Rejects is getting better now. This is probably the reason why I can't update the other book so badly. Also, check out Ruth's book called "Who Killed Me". It has a LOT of weird writings tbh. That makes the book more thrilling. It will be out around Holloween.)
