Michael sit there in shock.
Jeremy covered his mouth, looking at him with a little regret that he confessed, but he continued.

"I tried to hide it, you were in pain and I don't want to add to the mess. So I hid my feelings by being in love with Christine, which i know she's ace and biromantic. But, I couldn't even come to terms with being bisexual yet. I thought you were so cool being openly gay, and got hope to be like that by being openly bi, but couldn't get as I'm an awkward boy who tried taking over the school and maybe all of humanity with it. But besides that, I love you...m-more then a friend would."

Michael had tears streaming down his face, still in shock of the confession from Jeremy.

"Micha..im sorry," he said, before stopping as he looked to see the petals in Michael's eye, falling off smoothly onto the bed. Michael coughed hard, lots of full flowers coming out with no blood before a seed came out and it fully stopped.

"I-Its gone," Michael smiled.

"W-what?"

"Jeremy! I was hardcore in love with you and you just noticed! This is a Hanahaki seed! It's what causes this disease! You returned your love to me! ...you love me," Michael said, grinning widely before wrapping Jeremy in a hug. Jeremy hugging him back, kissing Michael's face repeatedly causing him to giggle. Michael brought Jeremy in for a long kiss, bringing his hands up to his face. Jeremy calmed, however he felt flower petals on one of his hand.

He pulled back to see Michael had a flower still on his hands, a blue flourishing rose in his left hand.

"Guess it's a momento," Michael sighed, kissing his new boyfriend.

That flower stayed on Michael's hands until he was buried into the ground next to Jeremy years and YEARS later. The Hanahaki seed grown into a floral tree next to them
