Jake's POV
One hour turned into two two turned into three it's been 3 hours and now we're just sitting here waiting we haven't heard anything from the doctors since I've been crying my eyes out worried sick
"Baby they're going to be okay" Tessa say try to calm me down
"Mr. Paul?" A rough voice asked
I looked up and it was the doctor "Yes how are my babies" I rushed over to him
"Well they both will be fine" he started
"Oh thank god" I praised
"But, their fevers are really high for how young they are and if you waited any longer they might of died we think we know why it happened" he stated
"Why" I asked
"We think it started off with an ear infection but, not a usual ear infection this infection spreaded through their head we are not sure why it spreaded but there will be complications for the rest of their lives" he answered
"Like, what" I asked worried
"They won't be so often but they might suffer from seizures every once in awhile" he replied
My heart dropped "when do I get to see them" I asked
"Right now" he said leading me and Tessa to their room
Once we walked into their room I started crying they were hooked up to so many machines they were both passed out and looked so weak I ran to their bedsides and sat in the chair in the middle and held both of their hands while crying my eyes out this is all my fault I should of realized they were sick sooner...
