CHAPTER 1: The Doorstep

Jake's POV

I was editing my vlog in the office when I heard a knock on the door I went to check and see who it was since it was really early

I opened the door and saw no one I was about to close the door until I heard a faint cry I looked down and saw 2 baby carriers with a baby girl inside each one and a diaper bag next to them there was a note attached to one of the carriers it said......

Dear, Jake Paul

The one in the pink pajamas is Arabella Rosaleen Paul and the one in the white pajamas is Scarlett Penelope Paul. They are almost 5 months old, they were born December 15th, 2016. They are YOUR daughters, I can no longer take care of them. If you decide you don't want them you can call the LA Child Protection Services Center and they will take them, there is already a family lined up for them; and you wouldn't have to deal with them ever again. There is a folder with more information in the diaper bag, all you need to do is sign the paper. I'm so sorry for this take care.

I looked at the babies they were sitting in their carseats crying so I brought the carriers inside I reread the note a couple more times I was in shock so I screamed "THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING" and that's when Paisley my younger sister came down

Paisley's POV

I walked downstairs and saw Jake and 2 babies I didn't recognize

"What's all the screaming about it's like 6AM" I complained

Jake handed me a piece of paper and started pacing back and forth while the babies were crying

I read the paper and my eyes widened I read it again to make sure it said what I thought it said

Jake started to cry and sat on the couch I picked up the crying babies I took their hat and jacket off and changed their diapers I then layed them on the couch surrounded by pillows so she didn't fall

"Jakey it's going to be ok we will get through this" I said

He layed his head on my lap and I played with his hair (brother sister way) his sobs became quieter and he fell asleep

I carefully escaped his grip and took Arabella and Scarlett to my room I put Braydon in the same bassinet with Zayden and I fed Arabella and Scarlett their bottles putting them to sleep then laying them in Braydon's bassinet

I curled back into bed and fell asleep

Jake's POV

I woke up laying on the couch with the note in my hand still I started to look around and realized they were missing all of a sudden I felt like my whole world was crushed I just met my kids but it was love at first sight I ran around the house freaking out

Paisley's POV

"Ummm who are those babies" Anthony whispered waking me up

"Arabella and Scarlett I'll explain later" I said getting up I went to the bathroom and changed into a white crop top and light pink shorts I threw my hair up in a bun and grabbed the baby monitor hooking it to my shorts while I followed Anthony downstairs

"Paisley I've lost Arabella and Scarlett" Jake said frecking out

"Don't worry they are upstairs sleeping" I said

"Oh thank god" he sighed

Jake's POV

When Paisley told me the girls were safe I felt relieved I felt better

I walked into the office and stared at the folder Alissa left for about 20 minutes

I was pondering if I should keep them or give them away when Paisley walked in

"So what are you going about the babies" Paisley asked

"Umm I think I'm going to keep them I know it sounds crazy and I don't know the last thing about being a dad, but earlier when I thought I lost them something sparked I was scared, worried, hurt, all I wanted to do was protect them but I couldn't the moment I saw them I fell in love with them, they are my flesh and blood and I don't want to give them up" I said letting a tear escape my eye the girls were already my whole world and it hasn't even been 24 hours yet
