"We will be having a long quiz on our next meeting, covering all the lessons we had today and yesterday. Okay, class dismissed." our professor announced and on cue, the electric bell rang.
Nagbuntong hininga ako while resting my head on my table for a few seconds, at pagkatapos ay inayos ang gamit ko, placed my bag on my shoulder, and stood up lazily. I feel so drained.
I'm so sleepy, Faye..." sabi ko like a small girl starting her tantrums.
Faye is usually the one who drives both of us home kasi nga magkatapat lang yung bahay naming dalawa. That's what you call trust.
"Please... Please Lou..." she gave me the look. Puppy eyes and pouted lips.
I smiled faintly and nodded, giving up.
Bago kami mag hiwalay ng landas ay nag beso muna kame and bid our goodbyes.
As I was walking through the halls, I realized na sobrang pagod ako at inaantok and I don't think I can drive home kaya bumalik ako sa room, hoping to si Faye, and fortunately she was still there.
"Faye! Pwede bang sumama nalang ako sainyo? I won't bother you, I promise. Mananahimik lang ako. I'm just so tired to drive..." she paused for a while and just stared at me.
"You sure?" she gave me a mischevous grin and I knew immediately that she's up to something. But I would rather sit at the backseat of the car and wait for her "project making" to end. Wala rin namang assignmemts for tomorrow, so...
"Sige, whatever... Just don't let me drive. Baka maaksidente pa ako..." I yawned and sighed.
"Okay then, let's go!" she excitedly exclaimed and I knew that I was too late.
Ginamit na namin yung sasaktan ni Faye since sasama narin ako sakanya. Her initial plan was to just ride a taxi because she's all alone. Obviously, there's no project making.
Everything was so loud. The place is crowded with sweaty bodies and the flickering spotlights just made me want to throw up. The scent of alcohol immediately rushed through as soon as we entered the club.
"What are we even doing here?!" I shout through the loud music.
"To have fun! Don't be a party pooper now, Lou. Have fun. Minsan lang 'to!" she told me with a huge grin. I should have gone straight home.
She scanned through the tables, there was a girl on the table by the corner na kumakaway sakanya and she waved back.
"Uy grabe! Long time no see! It's been what?
I spaced out from their conversation and scanned the place. It was just like a common club with lots of drunk people dancing and making out everywhere. Muka ngang manyak yung iba eh. Buti nalang at naka shirt at black leggings lang ako ngayon with my white converse.
