Denny Lawrence didn't want to graduate high school and move away; her home was where her entire life was.
When she arrives at Ridgewood, the last thing she expects is to run into walking heartthrob Ash Willis. Everything about him tells her to run and hide; so of course she does the opposite.
She didn't expect him to become the walking and breathing hero he was, or to hear of the death of her new friend at a sorority house.
As if something out of a horror movie, Denny realizes that maybe some things in life really are stranger than fiction.
