The Fyrnocks curse

Beginning the detransformation

Ezra's eyes opened slowly. His body felt weird, like he was missing something. With a shrug, he stretched and jumped down.
His legs buckled and he collapsed. With a growl of frustration, he stood shakily then stared.
His paws had less fur and his claws were almost gone.
He sped to the mirror where he gasped at his reflection. His eyes were back to their unique blue except his pupils were remarkably like cat eyes.
His ears had shrunk and his snout had shortened. Even his body size seemed to have gone down.
"KANAN!" He yelled at the top of his lungs.
He ran down the hall where Kanan was stumbling out of his bedroom. Hair a mess and looked alarmed.
"Ezra? What...What is it?" He asked.
The Fyrnock skidded to a halt in front of his master.
"The antidote's working! It's working Kanan! Look!" Ezra barked.
It took the confused Jedi a few seconds to realise what his Padawan was talking about. A smile took over his face and he bent down to Ezra.
"This is amazing Ezra. You'll be back to a human in no time!" He grinned.
Ezra gave a bark and leapt at Kanan. The man, taken down by the animals weight, was thrown to the ground.
Ezra rubbed his face on Kanan's shoulder before leaping off him and running down the hall. He repeated sprinting up and down the corridor for a while.
Kanan leant against the wall and watched his excited apprentice skid around happily. Chuckling at the boy's joyful state.
Ezra finally stopped in front of Kanan, breathing heavily.
"You done?" Kanan asked with a grin.
The Fyrnock nodded and padded after his friend to the common room.
Kanan put a dish of water in front of Ezra and sat down on the couch with a cup of Kaff.
"You know. When you do turn back, you'll probably still have that bite mark" Kanan told Ezra.
The boy stopped lapping up the liquid and thought about this.
"I know" he said.
"But my lightsaber scar will be the only thing anyone can see."
Kanan nodded.
The rest of the crew were equally happy about Ezra's detransformation back. Chopper was the only one to say that Ezra looked horrifically ugly and terrifying. But after snarling at the droid, Chop quailed and apologized.
Things were looking up for Ezra and the crew.
