Lonely rose

The intense blood red color

Of a lonely rose,

Made my mind blurr

And my heart just froze.

Wandering I was

When I saw her charm,

Lying in between the grass

Stuck in the ground.

I could see her desperation

To get up and leave,

So much frustration

Time stopped unknowingly.

Her dry leaves

Begging for water,

Hope would decrease

But I couldn't help her.

She's been cursed or spelled

And if it will remain,

I couldn't really tell

If it will ever rain.

She was ever so lonely

Living a slow death,

As much as I felt sympathy

I couldn't help.

Some more time she'll be

She won't last much,

I am tempted to see

But not allowed to touch.
