Kalia's pov
I was shocked...purely shocked by how he kissed me like that. Just pure and clear and oh so lovely. I couldn't help it, I wanted to follow him, but every fiber in my being said to just stay put, so I watched him as he walked away. The love of my life, was walking away. "STOP COME BACK!!" I screamed, and quickly ran down the side of the building. I needed to..no wanted to have him kiss me again. "I..lets start all over again? Please, I don't know how to really be nice to guys, its in my nature to hate them.." I said..not really sure how he would react,not sure if he even wanted to talk to me.
I looked him up and down again, he wasn't that bad looking now that I saw him in true light. "You know..I don't think we were really fair to each other.."
Syn's pov
"Fair? Fair how?... Since the first day we met you've been fighting me and for no reason too! Hell i never wanted to fight in the first place. I told her fighting the urge to shut up and kiss her again.
"I..I know but you came up at the wrong time and i thought you were laughing at me and..and..and" She stammered trying to find the words to speak as i stepped closer to her. So close I could almost hear her heart thundering in her chest like mine...or was it mine.
I shushed her by putting my finger to her lips. "If you want to start again...we can but on one condition." I leaned in real close inhaling her sweet scent again.
"Whats that? " She moving a lock of her hair behind her ear.
"Come out on patrol with me." I whispered placing my hand on her face and stroking her cheek,
"Are you asking me out on a date?"
"Its a possibility" I replied cooly removing my hand and the lust from my tone,
"Why not a restaurant or on the beach or something?"
"Well if a girl like you loves to kick ass so much why not spend the first date kicking ass together" I joked surprised that for the first time in since we met i made her laugh.
I cut the laugh off by rudely stepping in and kissing her again, wrestling her tongue with mine.
"Mmmmmm" She moaned slightly placing her hands on my neck and pulling me into her. All my senses were on fire with pleasure, every nerve and synapses surged throught out my body making me weak in the knees.
When the kiss broke we stood there holding each other gasping for air in the dimly lit alleyway.
Kalia's pov
The kiss..oh god the kiss was almost as amazing as the first time, and when we broke apart, just standing there and looking at each other, it felt as if..my heart were about to explode.
We must've stood there for about 5 minutes before I broke the silence. "So you want me to go out on patrol with you huh? Well I guess I could try not to one up you with my skills" I said cheekily looking at him, laughing.
I continued my way down the street, pulling my stake out just in case there were any vampires around in the area. "You coming Syn?" I called over my shoulder. It looked like my little taunting had gotten to him, because before I knew it he was coming at me full speed. Okay not really at me but the vampire that was about to feast off of my neck.
I stood stunned as he sliced the vampire up right into peices before me. "What was that about who showing off what skills?" he asked before holding me close. I smelled his scent in, and felt so safe and warm in his arms. I didn't want it to end, but he let go and on we went on ahead.
I stood watching him walk away for a little bit then ran up behind him and jumped onto his back. "Piggy back ride, I'm to tired to walk." I said cheekily again.
Syns Pov
I was surprised at how playful Kalia could be as I carried her down the side walk on my back. "I'm not to heavy am I" She giggled bouncing with every step I took. "Nah youre fine" I assured her quickening my pace as i felt eyes watching us from a distance.
"Whats wrong?" She asked obviously sensing my tension.
I froze in my tracks. "Syn whats wrong?" She followed my gaze down the street to the girl standing on the corner.
Kalia pov
I followed his gaze and there was a girl standing there. A girl with pale skin, red hair and a kick ass body. I wondered who she was, and why she was here, and why Syn stopped so aprubtly. "Syn...who is she?" I asked, sliding down off of his back.
Syn turned to me and said two words. "My ex." At that moment I felt as if my whole world were crashing down upon me. We all stood in silence for about a life time before I opened my mouth. "Whats her name?" I asked.
Syn smiled and said "Amela.." as he said her name she came over and tried to hug him but I stepped in the way. "Don't...touch..him.." I said. "Syn is my boyfriend.."
Amela sneered. "It's all good..seems like you two deserve each other anyways." with that said she flounced away. I looked at Syn and kissed him yet again.
