Chapter Four, Too Good

After my weird encounter with Joey my head isn't thinking straight. I stare at my reflection in the mirror and frown it frowns back. With a sigh my hand reach up and fixes the matty hair coming out of my braids.
Why can I not look like Ella.
With that thought in mind the door swing open and Zoey runs in. "Oh my are you all right?" I feel the tears that started to run from my eyes and quickly wipe them away.
"Yeah I just got some of my... mascara into my eyes." Zoey shakes her head. "Joey was talking about you." I hear Zoey say while she walk into a stall and close the door. "What was it?""he was saying how you aren't one of the annoying ones at camp and actually enjoys to be around you. It was very sweet of him to say normally he just says that everyone is stupid." I feel my heart raise inside my chest and smile to my self. "That is nice of him.""I know you like him opal you do not need to hide it anymore." I stand in shock.
"I do not like him. What makes you say I do?""it's okay he told me about how you kissed him last night."
He told Zoey???
"Oh that, that was nothing." I feel blush on my cheeks and feel my knees weak.
"It wasn't nothing to him. I can tell he liked it from the way he avoid to look at me when he told me." The toilet flush and Zoey walks out of the stall to the sink next to mine. There is a grin on her face and I feel one on mine.
"So how long was it?""What do you mean? I didn't see it, Zoey should I be concerned you're asking me how long your brothers... that is?" Zoey cracks up into laughter and i smile awkward back. "Oh my god you stupid I mean how long was the kiss?" I feel myself embarrass and laughter it off.
"The kiss was about 3 seconds." Zoey raises her eyebrows. "Stop he probably didn't care.""i can talk to him for you I'm his baby sister he will listen to me." I smile and we walk out of the bathroom together.

I walk into the dorms and see Melody talking rapid with a giant smile across her face. I assume her date went well.
"Hey Mel what did I miss?""Just a long story about her date with felix." Ella said raising up her brows.
"Fill me in!"
"Okay Felix held my hand the entire walk we did through the town and it was so romantic because all the street lamps were on and the shops were all lit and the place was gorgoeus! This was after we ate by the way no things really happen at the diner, and then we walked by the lake and he stopped and just look at me for a while and it was such a cheesy movie moment but he kissed me on the lips and held it for a long time so I told him that I love him when he pull away and he said he loves me too! I start to cry and he just hugs me for a real long time and the whole time I think I was in a dream but I need to keep telling myself that I am not!"
Melodys story was so heart warming and I was happy for her, I know she really love Felix and I'm glad that they have such a good relationship.
"Awh Mel I'm so happy for you!""Thanks Opal, if it weren't for you I wouldn't have got the idea!" Melody reaches and hugs me over the gap between our beds.
I look at the door right as it swings open and see a tall boy with light blonde hair and striking red eyes that meet mine right as he walk into the room. I can feel the beating of my heart raise as he keeps those eyes on mine. I feel like he is challenging me, I can not look away. He walks over to us keeping his eyes on mine and then looking away to face Zoey. "Jordan said he wants you.""What for? Come on joe this is my free time!"
"Zoey can you go see your f*****g brother before he blames me for you not showing up." Zoey flinch when he says such a harsh word but gets up without saying any more.
"Melody and Ella Mitch wants to see you guys.""What are you the secretary?" Ella asked annoyedly but gets up from her bed. "Come on Mel.""Mel.""MELODY!" Ella yanks Melody by her arm and pulls her out the door Melody has a grin on her face and her eyes stare off in a daze.
"Do they need me?" Joey shakes his head. "No they don't."
I nod that I understand and look back into his deep gaze.
"I need you" Joey pulls me closer to him so there is so little space between us. I close my eyes and feel his warm breath against my face while he says quietly. "You are all I've been thinking about Opal."
His words bring chills to my skin and I open my eyes. I take his face in my hands and pull him all the way so we kiss. We kiss for a while until he backs up.
"No one will know about this." His voice is rough and he clears his throat.
I nod my head again before he kisses me a second time more passion than the first. He brings a hand down my arm and caresses my hand in his as we continue our kiss.
He slowly leans so we are laying down, him on top of my on the bed, he takes ,y wrists and pushes them down so I can't move them.
"Hey Ella, are you.. whoa what's going on here?""Where is it? I know you have it!" Joey backs up and yells into my face. The feelings I had before are replaced by fear and I struggle to push him off.
"Joey what are you doing?""She took three of the potions I was supposed to turn into Jordan and I want them back. I am not taking a failing score because of a dimwit taking my things."
Dimwit? He just called me a dimwit?
"Like I would want your potions? If I were to steal them I wouldn't take ones that aren't even made correctly!"
That made no sence Opal.
"Okay Joey then just tell Jordan you need more time." Joey gets off of me after hearing what Jace said. Jace looked at us suspicious and waited by the door.
"Why are you staying here?""Just to make sure you aren't going to hurt her or anything of the sort." Jace waited for Joey to walk out and followed giving me a last worry look.
That was such a day.

Hi guys! I am so sorry it took me that long to upload a new chapter, school has got me more than busy and with gymnastics almost every day I don't get home until real late most week days.
