Whistling loudly by putting two fingers into my mouth, I managed to quiet the room down. "Alright everyone in their places!" I hollered above a few hushed whispers.
I'm pretty sure my hair was all frazzled looking as I clutched onto my clipboard for dear life. Tonight's the big night of our fashion show and I'm running things behind the scenes.
This past month I've been operating nonstop on just a few hours sleep and a hell of a lot of caffeine. Our finals just wrapped up a week and a half ago, then a few days ago...we finally graduated!!! No more school, yay!
Unfortunately, Hunter who still has quite a few years of schooling to become a doctor is still there. We agreed to keep in touch and meet up whenever we get the chance.
It was a sad but happy time for all of us, not having to be on campus grounds anymore. So as I was saying, try doing all that stuff while running a business and on top of that organizing a freaking fashion show!
Reese was out front scooting around in her stilettos like a nut, making sure all the guests were seated in their proper areas and everything was going smoothly as planned.
As you all know any fashion show with 'Elisha Stapleton' attached to the headlines would bring in celebrities and fashionistas from all over.
We were debuting her summer line as well as a few pieces Reese and I designed. I was so excited I could hardly contain myself from shrieking. Hopefully, people will like our creations...then we can start our own clothing line!
We rented out a chic little art gallery and set it up with a custom made runway. Food was specially catered and champagne was being served to all guests.
Trying my best to assure that no casualties or disasters occur under my watch, I glanced over my clipboard and mentally checked things off my list.
Alena and Gemma were all the way at the end of the line, so I couldn't chit chat with them. They both looked great!
Leading off the fashion show would be Lillianna in swim wear, I first met her when I helped Aunt Elisha with her Fall in Love with Fashion show. Geez, that seemed like eons ago!
She was one of the few models at the show who wasn't stuck up. Lilli was extremely friendly towards me and we've kept in touch through email ever since we met.
She's one of Aunt Elisha's permanent models. Which basically means, whenever Aunt Elisha has a fashion show...she's guaranteed a job.
Lillianna's twenty-two, born and raised in New York. Modelling's been her passion since she was a little girl, so she was home schooled all her life.
What a lifestyle! Getting to travel all over the world and experience such great things! Anyways, I'm totally veering off topic here.
I was planning on playing matchmaker tonight...Aiden would totally fall to his knees and bow in front of her. Their personalities reminded me of each other, outgoing and crazy...so I'm sure they'd get along perfect!
Looking down the line, I smiled at Alena who was wearing one of Aunt Elisha's designs. A royal blue romper with alot of white gold accessories. While Gemma, was wearing one of my designs. An animal print ruffled tube dress.
"OMG...Kaila!" Reese's voice chirped excitedly into my earpiece... a little loudly at that might I add. "Marc Friggin Jacobs just arrived and he's sitting front row next to Megan Fox! I never thought I'd see so many stars in my life!"
There was a reason why I put Reese out front, she has great social skills...but gets easily distracted by being starstruck.
I chuckled to myself before answering, "Gawk all you want now, it's almost time to reel it in Reese, show starts in five."
