Could this morning get any better?

Gabby's POV

I woke up and have to take a look at my surroundings I turn to my left and see Matt laying down ready to kiss me.
"Morning gorgeous" Matt says to me before slowly coming towards me and touches my lips with his ever so gently. I bite my lip and say "Morning, what's the time?" "Seven forty" he replies as I sit up and sigh Matt then copy's and asks "do you want a coffee?" And I smile and say "that would be lovely" before giving him a cheeky peck on the lips and he then gets up and walks towards the kitchen as I stay there in bed and smile and before I know it Matt is back in the room with a mug of coffee in his hand. I slowly sip it checking it's not too hot, it's perfect "you know me too well Matthew Casey." I say before placing it down on the nightstand next to me and getting out of bed only to go a kiss Matt. I pull away and ask him "what do you want to wear today?" He replies with a simple "I don't know, you choose." I smile at him and mutter under my breath "okaaay" and walk over to Matt's chest of drawers and open the drawer with all his work T-shirts in and pick one out and say "it needs ironing but I think this one will do with like a pair of black pants or something." He looks at me and says "perfect I'll iron it whist you pick something out." He says walking up to me and kissing me on my forehead. Luckily we work at the same place and I work under him so I can just pull out a Truck 81 CFD top and a pair of leggings I keep in my handbag thank god I always keep a a few spare pairs of black pants in my locker at work just in case. I turn back around to see Matt leaning against the wall of the door. I walk up to him and before we could say anything he was kissing me I was slowly walking backwards to the bed on my tiptoes trying not to break it. We then fell backwards onto his bed and I was so in the moment I didn't want it to end he then quickly pulled away and said "Gabby we can't do this, not right now" I nod and turn to look at the digital clock Matt keeps on his night stand on the right side of the bed it's already 8 o'clock "damn," I mutter "we're gonna be late if we don't hurry up!" I quickly chuck off Matt's top he gave to me to wear last night and threw it on his bed I quickly put on my leggings and Matts T-shirt I borrowed for the day and take a quick sip of my coffee before running to the bathroom to brush my teeth and face and chuck some quick make-up on. Matt then walks in and does his teeth whist I'm making the finishing touches with my mascara and he says "your so beautiful" before leaning in for a quick kiss. I pull away and said "look babe we really need to go now we're gonna get a beat in from chief if we're late." He looks at me and says back "fair point." I run and grab my phone off charge and see there's a text from Antonio, I'll read it later I grab my door keys and shove them in my handbag and run out to join Matt quickly turning off the bathroom lights we accidentally left on and shut and locked the front door. I sigh and cuddle up to Matt, we walk down the apartment block down to the parking lot when we climb into Matts contractor pick up truck and we sit down and put our seat belts on I grab my phone out from my handbag and read the text Antonio had sent me.

"Oh my god Matt, Laura has had the baby and it's a boy they've called him Diego!" I say excitedly "no way say congratulations from me" he says back, "alright I'm texting him now."

Oh my God! Congratulations from Diego's Auntie, I'm at the station now Matt said Congratulations to you all love you xxx

I can't believe my nephew has finally been born we're a few blocks away from the station and I say to Matt "babe, pull over." He pulls over almost immediately and looks at me and says "what's wrong?" I answer with "I'm not ready," I pause "not just yet, just a few more days I'll walk from here don't worry it's only a 5 minute walk." He looks at me as I hop out "are you sure?" He asks "yes I'm fine don't worry." I assure him "okay fine be safe I love you." He says to me "see you in a few minutes love you" I say blowing him a sneaky kiss as he drives off.
(About 7 minutes later)
"Hey Gabby how are you?" Herrmann asks as he jumps out of his Ford Fiesta "I'm fine thanks Chris, oh and Laura, Antonio's wife has had their baby!"
"Really ?!" Matt butts in "oh hey Matt yeah it's a boy called Diego! I'm going to meet him after my shift" I walk in with Herrmann and Matt and Matt whispers in my ear "I'm glad you got here all okay babe love you." I go in grab a coffee and think 'could this day get any better?'
