Wake up

Matts POV

"Sir," a nurse said to me "you have to get out please." I ignore her and say "gabby no," I say "stay with me please please." I say a tear falling down my face "Matt you have to move now ." Nat said "no" I mutter under my breath "Matt!" She says sternly. I walk out and immediately call her parents off her phone.
"Hey Gabby!" I hesitate "hi Mrs Dawson," I say "who is this calling off my daughters phone?" She asks "it's Matthew Casey." She then said "Who is this?" She repeats "I am the lieutenant of Truck 81," I begin "Gabby's company at work, I think it's best to come down to the hospital like as soon as possible she's in emergency care at Chicago Medical Center." There was a pause "hello? Mrs Dawson?" The phone is answered by a man "who ever this is trying to prank my wife with our daughter it's not working so call this number 01-21-DO ONE!" The phone was then ended. I immediately dial Antonio he answered "Gabby?" He said surprised "Antonio it's Matt" I inform him, "ah Matt what's up?" he asked "any news yet." He then asked "I suggest you get downstairs immediately." There's a pause "already on my way." He ends the phone and within a minute he's right beside me "what is it?" He asked "call your parents" I told him "why don't you just do it?" He said to me "I tried," I explained "they thought it was a prank." I continued "they what I'm calling them now, hi Mom can you come to the hospital please, come see Diego." After a few seconds he put the phone down "their coming, anything else?" He asked "she stabilised but she got worse when I was in there I wasn't even there for a minute and there was a lot of beeping of machines were still not allowed in." He doesn't take it well then along came his parents "I bet you take this one mate." Antonio says "what ?" Mrs Dawson says "hi Mr and Mrs Dawson I am lieutenant Matthew Casey," I say shaking their hands "your daughter was in a serious incident when working. She is in a coma over there in that room." They went white, "so it wasn't a joke." Mr Dawson states "unfortunately not," I reply "would you like to take a seat here and wait until we're allowed in, stay here for a moment whilst I make a radio to our firehouse," I say before walking over to the other side of the room and make a call. "Truck 81 Squad 3, it's Casey where are you is the fire out?" I wait for an answer "Casey the fires out and look behind you." I hear Kelly say I turn around and see everyone there I run over and give Kelly a massive man-hug. "How is she?" Cruz asked "she's in a coma she's arrested once but we're still not allowed to go and visit her." I say before I hear shouting across the corridor "Matt! Come over here." I pace over to Natalie "hey Nat do you want to speak to her parents as they have just arrived?" I asked her. "That would be perfect." She says as we walk over to them. "Camilla, Ramón?" I begin "This is doctor Natalie Manning she has been looking after Gabby." I say as Natalie shakes their hands "I can assure you she is in the best of hands and we are still not going to allow visitors until the morning in case she arrests again." They look at her and nod "will she need any surgery?" Ramón asks "not at the moment but who knows what may happen in the future maybe once she's out of her coma she may need it we can't exactly tell at this stage but by tomorrow morning we surely should know." Natalie said. "Thank you so much for looking after her I'm sure she is in the best capable hands she could be now." Camilla says to Natalie. She then smiled and said "if you have no more questions I'll leave" Ramón shook his head Nat turned on her heel and walked away I said "Mr and Mrs Dawson if you want to stay feel free but I'd advise you to go home rest, sleep.  I will phone you as soon as I hear some news. "Thank you Matt you have been a big help I think we will go home are you sure your okay to stay here?" Camilla asked, I nodded "I'm fine to stay here you go home and I will call you as soon as I hear anything." I said Ramón and Camilla both smiled at me and went home.

(The next morning at 5 am)

I woke up in the middle of the hospital and I got told I could go see her. I went in and I didn't want to disturb Mr and Mrs Dawson at this hour and plus I wanted time with her alone too. I sat down next to her and said "Gabby please wake up please just wake up." I kissed her on the lips and like in Snow White she woke up just as I pulled away "oh my god Gabby your awake and I leant in and kissed her and just like that her brother walked in "aherm" he blurted "what are you doing with my sister?" He asked me "Antonio look we've been wanting to tell you for days we was just waiting for the right time."
Gabby said "well you definitely chose the right time didn't you!" He walked up to me pinned me against the wall "DIDN'T YOU!!!!!" Just like that Kelly walked in "woah woah woah Antonio step away. Get out!" He said before Antonio went out and he locked the door shut so no one could get in. "Right then what have you two done this time?!"
