The cell was so cold. So very cold. It never used to be this cold. Maybe it was winter now, I didn't know. There weren't windows in this awful building, so I had no idea what time of day it was or what season it was.
"Hey, time for you to get some food!" The voice was Master Ro. He slipped some rotting meat into my cell, laughing.
"Why can't I just have something that isn't rotting?" I looked up at Ro, staring into his emotionless eyes.
"We wouldn't want you getting too strong now, would we? After all, you're just about ready to become a host. Your suffering will be over soon, don't worry."
"What's that supposed to mean!?"
He chuckled. "Don't worry, you'll find out soon enough." Suddenly, he vanished.
The cell walls came a little closer to me, like they always had. Now, the walls were brushing up against my pelt, which scared me. Tomorrow would be the day the walls crushed me alive.
I could hear screams from down the hall. They sounded so loud in my ears, and I covered them with my paws.
"Make. . . it. . . stop. . ," I pleaded.
"Ro! What's going on!?" This voice was new. I hadn't heard it before. I uncovered my ears unwillingly.
"You're almost there! Don't stop your screaming, though, it's music to my ears!" This was Ro speaking.
"It hurts! Make this stop! I thought you l-"
The voice cut off, and then, there was silence. A red, sticky liquid poured out of a nearby cell, seeping into mine. It coated my paws.
"You're going to be a great host, little Pichu," Ro chuckled. He walked past my cell, carrying a limp, bleeding Pichu. A dead-looking Bisharp walked beside him, eyes completely blank. It turned its head, looking at me.
"You're next." It vanished along with Ro.
The cell walls came closer until I couldn't even move around. Then, the walls rushed at me, and everything went black.

||Misao's Point Of View||After the two, limp bodies had been dragged by my cell, I started to freak out.
The Pichu had been bleeding everywhere, and it looked like it had been stabbed.
The Litten, on the other hand, had most of its bones poking through its pelt. It must have been crushed to death, which was a terrible way to go out.
Elle wasn't near me anymore. She had snuck away to another Pokémon's cell after our conversation had ended.
Ro popped in front of my cell suddenly.
"Ah! What- how did you get here? I thought you were taking care of those. . . fainted Pokémon."
He laughed softly. "You think those two were just fainted? You're so wrong. I guess they were just tired of the cell, so they committed suicide." He shrugged.
"W-what!? You mean. . . I'm never gonna get out of here?" My paws shook as I ran to the front of the cell. I grasped the cold, metal bars.
"You're gonna stay here until we figure you out, Misao. You can't just expect us to let you go without knowing anything about you. Silly girl!" He picked up my empty plate, which had contained the Magikarp meat.
"But I have to take care of younger ones! You don't expect me to leave them out in the freezing cold, do you!?"
He unlocked my cell door, stepping inside, and locking the door behind him. "That's exactly what I expect you to do. Don't worry, we've got some Pokémon coming for them. They'll be taken care of correctly, don't fret." Ro chuckled.
