dear reader,
a few days ago, i met with some girls.
i asked them to tell me their stories; i asked them to explain to me how it felt to grow up with the body type they had, and the journey they took to truly love themselves.
the girls that agreed to work with me wished to stay anonymous, or under a code name. regardless of anything, though, they wanted to get the truths out there: everyone has a different body. everyone is going to go through doubt and hate from it. but not everyone learns to love themselves, and that is the hardest truth of them all.
i sat down with my laptop and first wrote their stories down as notes. but when i began starting to edit them, my fingers decided to take those notes into poems, into words that danced like watercolor on paper.
this is their story, but it is also your story. they have asked me to share with you the truths, but it is your choice to decide what to do with them.
so i am proud to present:
BODY TALKS.

please do not steal my ideas, media, or any of what is mine.
thank you.
