“Some people are worth melting f-.”
“Dude, stop.”
Three weeks have passed since Dean and Cas saw that movie about two sisters and a talking snowman, and Cas couldn’t get that stupid movie out of his head. And of course, he has to remind Dean of that. Three fucking weeks.
“Cas, I swear, one more stupid line from that forsaken movie and you’ll regret it.” Dean demanded sternly, without missing a breath.
“I’m sorry.” Cas mumbled apologetically, face unreadable but Dean heard something in his voice, it was gone immediately but it was definitely there.
Great.
Dean didn’t mean to be rude about it but it has been three weeks and every single day Cas would find a way to incorporate another line from that movie Frozen. This time it was the finale of How I Met Your Mother. They were arguing over the reason as to why Robin and Barney got a divorce at the end, it was a disaster for Dean because he absolutely loves-loved- that show until, of course, the end. They were arguing. Arguing. Arguing.
Then, boom. Out of nowhere, Cas mentioned that line which brought to where they are right now. Dean knew it was pathetic to fight over such a stupid reason but he didn’t really have any idea why he was being a dick to Cas.
Maybe, he’s really sad about the ending of How I Met Your Mother.
Maybe, he’s having a PMS.
Or maybe, he’s sexually frustrated.
Yeah, that’s probably it.
Wait.
What?
No, he’s definitely not sexually frustrated. Oh god, that can’t be possible. He’s not sexually frustrated because of Cas. That’s just wrong. Right? Cas is a dude. Dean is a dude. That’s not possible. Oh god, dean thought.
But Dean’s trains of thoughts were cut off by the sound of a slamming door.
Cas left.
//
Five hours.
It’s been five hours and Cas hasn’t returned yet. Dean shouldn’t probably be concerning about Cas right now because Cas is an adult. Perfectly legal.
And also perfectly unaware of how human life works. The dude had just lost his grace, labeling him now as a human rather as an angel.
“What am I gonna do with you, Cas?” Dean sighed loudly.
Dean should probably start looking for Cas, it’s already 12 in the morning for god’s sake. But what was he going to tell to Cas?
Hey, Cas, I’m sorry I was a dick to you earlier but I would really appreciate it if you would shut your cake hole about that stupid movie.
Or
Dude, sorry I was sexually frustrated that my dick was the one telling you those things.
Dean groaned audibly.
Where’s Sam when you needed him the most?
Fuck it, Dean thought. He went on to grab his keys and opened the door to go to the Impala. He’s gonna look for Cas.
//
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
Dean couldn’t find Cas anywhere, and it’s not helping that the dude didn’t have any phone to call or to text. This is just great. Funfuckingtastic.
Dean came back to the motel empty handed without Cas on his trail.
He opened the door of the motel room and there he found Cas with a towel draped around his torso probably just came out of the shower. Wow.
Although relieved, anger rose through Dean’s vein and he didn’t know where it came from. He was out there looking for god knows where Cas went.
“Where did you go?” Dean snapped. It’s probably not a good idea to snap over such another silly thing but god, he was so worried about Cas earlier.
“I-I-I went to grab some things.” Cas said, visibly taken back by Dean’s sudden outburst. But he remained his composure as soon as possible.
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you where I went. I didn’t know you would care.”
Oh hell no.
Dean? Of all the people? Dean was the only one who believed Cas would be an amazing human, might even better than everyone, when no one was on his side. Dean who stayed with Cas even if he’s being oblivious to the rest of the world. Dean? Of all the people?
Dean was hurt.
“You thought that I wouldn’t care? Cas, I fucking love you! I love you even before I knew it and you would tell me that you thought I wouldn’t care. Damnit, Cas. Damnit.” Dean belted at the top of his lungs. Until the reality hit him..
Shit.
He looked at Cas trying to identify what he’s thinking. Cas gave him an abashed look which broke his heart as soon as he saw it.
Cas didn’t love him.
Ouch.

Author's Note.
Well. I was pretty bored and sad so I thought I'd write a one shot about Destiel because let's be honest, who doesn't like Destiel? But. It's not a happy ending. I know, it's kind of a rush. Sorry. Yeah, that's it. Why am I writing author's note, it's not like anyone's reading my stories. Yeah. That. Anyway, bye.
Awkward.
