"You guys, can we go ice-skating?" Dawn sat up on the couch, "Dawn, it is freezing outside." Tommy groaned, "It's not that cold you baby." Ashlie shrugged.
"Ashlie you came from Texas, you don't know what cold is." Tommy teased while flipping through channels. "I do too!" "Dawn, you told me you don't know how to ice-skate though." Uni turned around and faced him. "Well, I don't know, I just wanted to learn I guess." Dawn smiled weakly.
"We can go, give us a few minutes." Cory stood up as Dawn silently cheered to himself. "Cory, do you know the fucking temperature outside?" "Outside, Tom, outside, the ice-rink is inside." "I'm never winning this fight." Tommy sighed and left the room.

"You excited?" Uni smiled at Dawn as he stood up on the skates and already fell. "You're not even on the ice yet," Nick chuckled and moved onto the ice. Uni stayed behind with Dawn, "You want some help?" Uni tilted his head and watched Dawn struggle to get up. "Please," Dawn said sheepishly and held onto the bench.
Uni grabbed his hand and slowly guided him to the ice, "You ready?" Uni was on the ice as Dawn was a stuttering mess at the point where Uni took that as a yes and pulled him on the ice. "UNI!" Dawn exclaimed and started slipping, "Dawn..." "Uni!" "Dawn," "UNI!" "Dawn!" Dawn looked up and Uni was standing in-front of him.
Dawn was standing by himself on the ice,
Uni let go without Dawn even noticing.
Dawn was to busy panicking.
"Oh," Dawn smiled and moved forward slowly. "Very good, Dawn!" Tommy applauded from across the rink, "Now, when they clean the ice, Dawn you're not going to take ten million years to get across." Uni still stood there and Dawn hadn't reached him yet. "So, you can glide." Uni reached out and grabbed Dawn's hand.
Skating backwards as Dawn stared at him in awe, "I don't understand why you people are talented, like, I am right here." Dawn managed as Uni let go of his hands. "Push forward with one foot, then glide." Uni explained and chuckled as Dawn slipped for a second but didn't fall.
"LOOK AT OUR BOY GROW!" Cory yelled, "WE'RE PROUD PARENTS!" Ashlie chimed and everyone stopped to stare at them. "What? We can't be proud?" Ashlie sassed at them and continued her skating. "Ooookay, anyway, you're doing great!" Uni exclaimed.
Accidentally jinxing it,
Causing Dawn to fall and fall right on top of Uni.
Their faces just inches apart.
Dawn laughed uncomfortable and tried to get up off of him but hissed in pain as his hand met the ice, Uni smiled and took off his own gloves and handed them to Dawn. "Can you get up?" Uni asked, "No." Dawn pushed himself off of Uni and landed on the ice. Uni stood up and smiled down at the very flustered Dawn.
"You're blushing," Uni pointed out. "I'm embarrassed." "Why?" "I was inches apart from your face, I've done nothing but fail tonight, and now I can't even get up from my spot." Dawn managed and lifted his head up to see Uni reaching his hand out. "None of us are born talented, Dawn. We take awhile to figure out what we're good at, if this isn't what you're specialized in, so be it. But you're a great builder, and a voice actor. We wouldn't have the sets we have without you, Dawn." Uni helped him up.
"I love you, if that helps." Uni muttered under his breath.
"What was that?"
"Nothing," Uni grabbed Dawn's hand and lead him out of the rink. Everyone was taking their skates off.
"Does Dawn know how to skate now?" Nick asked as Dawn shrugged, "Not the best skater, but I'm getting there." Dawn smiled weakly.
"You have the best coach," Jon said while un-tying Ashlie's skates. "Uni taught all of us to skate." Nick picked up what Jon said and cleared Dawn's confused expression. "Yeah, Jon was the hardest to teach, so I made Ashlie teach him!" Uni exclaimed proudly.
"Yeah, and now, Jon teaches me somehow." Ashlie looked between Uni and Dawn.
"Y'all a thing yet?" She asked out of the blue, causing Uni and Dawn to look away from each other, both becoming a blushing mess. "No, Dawn doesn't like me that way." Uni managed, "Who said I didn't?" Dawn blurted.
"Wait, what?"
"Nothing! I'm just... tired," Dawn was still messing with his skates and looked at anyone but Uni for help. "May I?" Uni grabbed Dawn's skate lightly and un-did the laces, Ashlie smiling in the background. "I-I, uhh, I guess-but, uh, you're already... doing it... so." Dawn buried his face in his hands.
Uni chuckled and took the skates off, "You're embarrassed again," Uni pointed out. "Yeah, well, I kind of just, admitted feelings... for you." Dawn stood up and stared at Uni, waiting for the answer.
"Oh, you seriously didn't hear what I said earlier did you?"
"No."
"I said I loved you Dawn..." Uni mustered and looked down.
"Are you serious?!" Dawn's smile spreading across his face, "Yeah, I mean, I-I don't know what else happens next." Uni looked up to see Dawn walking out of them building.
And he cheered,
He smiled and danced and laughed to himself.
Then walking back in, immediately tackling Uni in a hug. "YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I WANTED TO DO THAT!" Dawn yelled, tears spilling down his face.
"Don't cry!" Uni laughed and wiped tears away, "I'm happy leave me alone." Dawn mumbled and pulled away from the hug.
"You know what could make you happier?"
"I honestly don't think anything else could make me happier right no-"
"Well duh, will you go out with me? That's a nice question to ask right now in this moment," "YES." Dawn answered without hesitation.
"Happier?" Uni asked.
"Yeah," Dawn paused, "I love this rink."
"So do I."
"What if we just have our date here? Wanna go ice-skating again?" Dawn offered. "We'll leave, have fun taking the bus." Cory shrugged and lead the others out.
"Tie my laces?" Dawn managed.
"I'll tie them any day."
