Chapter Twenty-Three~ Camping.

Lahryssa's POV

While me and the others were walking back to Troll Village. I noticed that some  troll girl name Lake keep staring at a troll with a leafy vest and brown pants. I guess his name is Branch. Lovie walk up to me and smiled. I cross my arms and look away.

" Why are you so grumpy?" She asked.

" None of your business", I glared at her. Lovie roll her eyes and cross her arms.

" Lovie and Lahryssa look alike", Lake said to Branch. Branch nodded.

" Yeah, but Lahryssa looks like Lovie but in grey form", Branch said. Lake took out a chocolate bar and took a bite. Branch look at her.

" What?" Lake look back at Branch and took a another bite of the chocolate bar. Branch just roll his eyes and chuckled. I roll my eyes as Lovie kept asking me questions.

" Leave me alone!" I said,glaring at her. She cross her arms and glared back at me.

" Why should I?" Lovie asked. I cross my arms and roll my eyes.

" Because your annoying", I answered.

" I'm just trying to make you smile!" Lovie said,hurt by what I said.

" Well I don't want to smile!" I said. Lovie frowned.

" Fine! I will just leave you alone." Lovie said,walking away from me. I felt guilty. I sighed. I hurt her feelings and now she's upset because of me.

40 Minutes later......

Lake's POV

I yawned. Its almost night and me and the others didn't stop walking. I groaned.

" Branch?" I asked. He look at me.

" What?" He said.

" Can we take a break? It's almost night", I said and yawned again.

" Fine", Branch said. I smiled. We took a break and started getting the fire ready. Branch took out sleeping bags for everyone. I notice that Lovie was sitting under a tree. She look sad. I walk up and sat beside her.

" Hey Lovie", I smiled.

" Hey", She said as she hugged her knees.

" You okay?" I asked.

" I'm fine", She answered.

" Are you sure?" I asked again.

" Yeah", Lovie said. I grab her hand and she stand up.

" How about we play truth or dare with everyone else?" I smiled. She smiled back. But it wasn't a full smile.

" Sure", She said. Then me and Lovie walk back with everyone else. Everyone sat in a circle.

" Lovie truth or dare?" Timber asked.

" Truth", Lovie answered.

" Do you have a crush?" Timber asked. Lovie shook her head.

" Nope", Lovie said.

" Are you sure?" Violet asked.

" Yup!" Lovie smiled a bit. Then Lovie look at me and smirked. Oh no.

" Lake truth or dare?" Lovie asked and giggled.

" Truth", I answered. Please don't be about Branch!

" Do you like Branch?" Lovie smirked. Really!! I blushed very red. I hope Branch is not looking at me. But Branch was looking at me. OMG!!

" So?" Lovie said,still smirking. I started blushing even redder.

" U-um can I change my to dare,p-please?" I asked. Lovie smiled.

" Sure!" Then she smirked. " I dare you to kiss Branch". I blushed even more redder.

" Uhhhhhh", I said. Branch continue to look at me,he was blushing too. I sighed and walk up to him. I kneel down beside him and was about to kiss his cheek. But the Lovie said.

" I meant on the lips", She giggled. Branch blushed more. I blushed so bad. I quickly kiss Branch on the lips then I pull back and ran away. Lovie gasped and ran after me.

" Lake! Wait!" Lovie said,running behind me.

Lovie's POV

I was running after Lake. I wonder why she ran away. Lake stop running and was a lake. She sat down near the lake. She sighed. I sat beside her.

" You okay?" I asked. She nodded.

" Yeah", Lake said.

" What's wrong?" I asked again.

" I don't know. I kinda feel embarrassment", Lake said.

" How?" I said.

" I know Branch likes Poppy", I sighed.

" How do you know?" I asked.

" I saw him looking at her", Lake said.

" Maybe he will just looking at her because he wanted to say something", I said. Lake sighed.

" I don't know", Lake said. I hug her. And she hug back.

" Hey Lake?" I said,letting go the hug.

" Yeah?" Lake said. I got a chocolate bar out of my hair. Lake squealed happily and hug me. I giggled.

" Thank you!!" Lake smiled.

" Your welcome!" I smiled.

Branch's POV

I was still blushing because of what Lake did. But I was wondering what is taking Lovie so long to find Lake. But then I saw them coming back. And Lake was smiling very wide.

" Lake you okay?" I asked. Lake smiled at Me.

" Yup!" Lake said. I look at Lovie.

" Chocolate bar", Lovie mouthed. I roll my eyes and chuckled.

40 Minutes later........

After playing truth or dare. And talking and laughing. Everyone got into their sleeping bags and went to sleep.
