Chapter Twenty-Five~ Midnight

  Branch's POV
I woke up breathing hard and sweating. I look around to see everyone is sleep and it's midnight. I sighed in relief. It was just a dream. I was about to go back to sleep but then I saw Lake looking at me.

" Branch you okay?" She whispered. I nodded and smiled at her. She smiled back.

" Are you sure?" A familiar voice whisper to me. I turn my head and saw Poppy was awake too.

" Yeah I'm sure". I whisper back and smiled. Lake got a little jealous and roll her eyes a bit. I notice that Lake roll her eyes. Oh no! It can't be true!!

" I think I should go back to sleep now. Goodnight girls!" I whisper and lay back down in my sleeping bag,and close my eyes.

" Why you roll your eyes like that Lake?" Poppy whispers to her.

" Because". She answered.

" Because what?" Poppy asked.

" Nevermind Poppy,goodnight!" Lake lay back down in the sleeping bag.

" Lake it's midnight! So that's means you have to say " See you later". Poppy giggled.

" Go back to sleep Poppy". Lake and I said in unison.

" Oh okay....see you later!!" Poppy giggle and lay back in the sleeping bag. Lake roll her eyes and smiled a bit. I shook my head and chuckled.

I walk around the forest,looking for Lahryssa. I wonder where is she. Lahryssa has a sister. And her sister is Lovie. And me,Lahryssa and Lovie been friends since we were four. I sighed. I miss them so much. And I forget to introduce myself. Hi I'm Midnight. I'm grey because I lost my family. I sighed as tears well in my eyes. I blink them away. I continue to walk and then saw trolls in sleeping bags. I look around then I saw Lahryssa and Lovie. Yay! I'm a little positive sometimes. But I don't show it. I was about to walk over there but then someone grab me. Then I black out.
