Beep

W-what?

Beep

Ugghh..

Beep

I seriously swear, waking up at 5:30 in the morning is not quite beautiful, unless if it is really worth it or so. Without hesitation, I got up and went straight to the bathroom. I peeled off my clothes and went straight to the shower. God, I stink. I yelped as the the ice cold water ran through my body. Lesson learned: never ever bathe myself with cold water at 5:30 in the morning.

"Lianah!" My gay best friend shouted.

I smiled and mentally rolled my eyes as I rinse the excess shampoo on my head and soap all over my body. "What do you want, Chad? I'm taking a shower!" I yelled back.

Me and Chad were roomies and besties, since his parents and my uncle were that close and we study in the same university. "Your favorite Choco Caramel coffee with marshmallows is waiting for you!" Chad replied.

God, he knows me so well! I hurriedly wrapped my towel around my body and walked out of the shower. I picked out my Big Bang Theory shirt and my skinny jeans. "Oh girl I ain't gonna wait for another-" Chad said busting in my room. "Calm down, sheesh!" I replied rolling my eyes at him while putting on my shirt. Chad just shrugged his shoulders and plomped on my bed.  Chad is not your typical gay best friend. To be honest, he is HOT and a good looking guy; that explains all of his girl stalkers.

As I finished readying myself, I grabbed my pillow and hit Chad on the face.  "What the fu-" I cut him off by laughing so hard. "Nu-uh, Chad. No swearing!" I said mimicking his mother. He just rolled his eyes and grimaced in response. I grabbed my backpack and Chad's wrist. "C'mon, my favorite drink is getting cold" I said pulling him up.

"I know you love me! I know you care! Just shout whenever, and I'll be there!"

Justin Bieber's somehow annoying voice rang through the radio. "Ooooh, this is my jaaam!" Chad squealed like a highschool girl. "Really? Justin Bieber? I know he's not that bad but, seriously?" I asked glaring at him. He just rolled his eyes in response. I leaned back on my seat and pulled out my phone. "So, How're you and your parents?" Chad asked me out of the blue

Mom..

Dad..

Do I even had one?

I don't think so...

"Just. Don't." I snapped at him. I became furious all of a sudden hearing that word. My parents and I weren't in the same boat when it comes to choices; they didn't support me in all of my decisions. While Uncle Joe, dad's older brother.. Well, he did support me. He's always telling me that "As long as I'm happy, I will also be happy too" My uncle's a cool guy. He's not like them who always do for the sake of her needs or so. After my freshmen year, I decided to run away and stay at Uncle Joe's. , and guess what? They accepted me and treated me like their daughter in such ways

I haven't seen my Uncle 5 years already. 5 years ago, I told him that I'll be living with Chad because I  don't want to deal with my parents anymore and I need to fulfill my dream: To become a Journalist. My uncle gave me the blessings to live with my awesome and annoying best friend and to study here in California. I'm still in touch with my uncle, until now. And with mom and dad, nope. Not a chance

"Earth to Lianah?" Chad said snapping his fingers in front of me.

"O-oh... I'm sorry I spaced out... And for snapping at you earlier" I muttered. He smiled and gave me a comforting side hug. "It's fine. I shouldn't have pulled out that topic. I'm sorry too. Now C'mon, we're here." He said pulling out from the hug and unbuckled his seatbelt. I smiled back at him in response and unbuckled my seatbelt. I grabbed my things and sighed heavily.

'Another day'  I thought.
