I spent the rest of the day wondering what my parents would say. I mean they would be so mad. I had a perfect record. I had never gotten detention. A grade under 80, late for class or even gotten called to the principals office. He barely knows I exist I'm so quiet. After my last class of the day, I got called in to the principals office. I had never been in there before. It was a roomy place with lots of pictures of cats. I guess he was a cat... um. Man? "Hi!" A friendly voice said.
"Hi. I said with a quickly judgemental voice.
"I know your not used to being here. I understand. But you have to realize, Miss Hornsaw, she isn't that teacher that always tattle tale.
You wish Mr. Darby. That was my principals name. After a long talk and not to talk about my horrible talk with my mom, I had to get to detention. I didn't want to be late for the second time in one day. I walked pretty fast to the classroom D-234. I went in and sat down at the furthest desk. I wasn't used to being here so I just sat to that one desk and didn't look at anything. I put my head down to start to study for my science final. It was in June and we were already in May. "You're in my seat." I raised my head and saw James. He was so hot. I couldn't stop staring at him. I felt like I was in a cloud. "Hey? New girl. You're in my seat." I clicked out of my bubble and corrected him "You mean ON my seat since yo can't be IN a seat...
"What did you say? He said with anger.
"Nothing. Here's your seat back." I said with terror. I was mortified. He was so cute. I didn't know him that well. I only knew all the rumours people would say about him. He was a bad dude and got kicked out of his old school for whatever reason. The teacher asked us to put our heads down and study. That's exactly what I did. James raised his hand. "Sorry bud, but I don't have a pencil.
"Um... I have one. I said with fear.
"I don't need yours newbie."
Again I was really embarrassed. I put my head down to concentrate. "Hey? Pssst. Said James.
"What? I answered with a tone.
"I finally need your pencil.
"MISTER KOYLE! NO NEED TO SPEAK." The teacher sounded really mad. That was the end of it. I had nothing else to say.
