The class ended and I waved goodbye to Kiel and went to the canteen to meet my best friends Massie and Fionn. The place was the same, but I kinda feel lost for there were a lot of students going there. It took me like 5 minutes to finally spot where my best friends were sitting. I walked to where they were and sat happily beside Maise while facing Fionn.
“Gosh, the canteen is pack!” I said.
“Idiot! It’s lunch!” Maise answered and we laugh.
“Okay sorry. Just another human being, I make mistakes and such you know.” I said raising my hands like I surrender and giggle.
“We forgive you darling.” Fionn wink.
“Gosh, Fionn you’re so hot! Don’t ever do that again or I swear I’ll jump you right now.” I said and laughed loudly.
“Very funny Aine…very funny!” he replied laughing a little.
“Well, thank you!” I winked back.
We saw Jonesy heading toward our table. Jonesy looking gorgeous as ever with her perfect curly blonde hair, her perfect figure, her small face, her beautiful eyes, flawless skin and everything about her. She’s the head cheerleader and the campus heartthrob. Can you believe that? She’s one of our friends! I mean we used to hang out before when we were kids, but back then she wasn’t popular and all. When she became the cheer leader she only spent a little time with me cause she was always with her cheer leader friends. But I was okay with it I mean I completely understand and was just thankful that she hasn’t forgotten we were friends before.
“Hey guys!” she greeted and placing her food next to Fionn.
“Hey!” we replied with a smile.
Maybe you think she’s bitchy and all but she isn’t. She’s super nice and smart too. She’s like a complete package that’s why guys here are head-over-heels for her. Sometimes I envy her, but now I don’t cause envying someone would lead to nothing good. Still why life does have to be unfair?!
“Jonesy how was your summer?” Maise asked.
“It was well…okay? I guess” she replied taking a bite of her salad.
“Okay?” Fionn questioned.
“Yeah, okay. It wasn’t awesome but it wasn’t boring either. I just stayed here and choreograph new routines for the team and we also went to the beach but it wasn’t that fun though, just with my family. My whole summer was all about new routines. So basically it was okay.” She smiled.
“Ohhh, you’re really a hardworking cheerleader. Huh!” I said with a smile too.
“Thank you. So how was yours you guys?” she asked.
“We spend the entire summer together. Yeah so it was awesome again!” Maise said energetically.
“I see. Oh, wait I have to go over there to my team. Catch with you guys again!” she said and grabbed her tray and went to where the popular table. I mean she has the right too, she’s really popular. We watched her as she goes into the popular table and we were just lucky enough that she still talks to us sometimes. She was really nice.
“There goes our Barbie doll.” Massie commented.
Fionn and I chuckled at her comment and we talk about random stuff and laugh a lot while eating our lunch. We finish our lunch with 10 more minutes spare before the bell rang that’s why we stood up and place the trays to the cleaning area. We were chatting while were heading out of the canteen when suddenly Fionn accidentally bumps into Keane; that annoying, snobbish, cocky, evil guy again!
“Watch where you’re going Fionna!” he shouted. Which made the people stare and started laughing.
“Sorry.” Fionn replied embarrass.
Keane was about to leave when I shouted.
“You should apologize too, you know!”
“And why should I?” he questioned.
“Cause you made my friend look like a fool!”
“It’s his damn fault for not looking!” he said stepping closer to us.
“Well, it’s barely your fault too cause if you were looking you wouldn’t bump on him. Right” I replied bravely even though I was shaking.
Massie and Fionn were telling me to stop but I didn’t.
“Some nerves you got there huh! Ms. Wannabe” he retorted.
“What?! Okay I’m so not a Ms. Wannabe and apologize now!” I replied angrily.
“No way!” he said going back to his table.
I didn’t know what came into my mind, but I grabbed a coke and throw it at him, who hits him in the head and the canteen became quiet.
“Ouch! You just cross the line!” he shouted walking towards me.
“What are you gonna do? Hit me. Okay then so everyone here will know how gayish you are too for hitting a girl!” I said with a smirk.
“You think?!” he said getting really closer and with a blink of an eye he raised his fist in the air, while I just closed my eyes.
Well goodbye beautiful earth! Goodbye friends! I think this is my last day. I was waiting for a punch, when suddenly…
