5 - Possible Theory.

It's been a few weeks since that incident with Ayato and Kanato. Explaining everything to Luna was a bit hard as well but luckily she believed us. Due to us finding out that the kittens we've taken in we're in fact the Sakamaki brothers we've changed a few things since we now feel awkward with them slightly. Though since the incident with two of the triplets they've remained kittens. Emiko and I have tried finding ways for us to communicate more with them but that's proven difficult as their paws make it impossible. They seem to be bothered by being kittens but have gotten use to it especially the ones that like the attention. I've been trying to figure out how this kind of thing even happens but it hurts my head. Like this is something that's not meant to happen. I mean I've read stories of this but I never expected it to actually happen part of me is just hoping this is all a dream and I'll wake up soon but the logical part of me is saying this is real and you have a big problem here. Thinking back maybe I should put in some vacation time from work or something. Ugh this will be a pain in the neck until we figure out something. As I'm currently working on something for work I get a call from Luna.
Luna: Um sis...?
Me: What happened?
Luna: Um Reiji changed his form catching Aria from falling down the stairs. He wishes to speak with you or Emi. He's also lecturing me about how I should be paying attention more blah blah.
Me: oh my god.... I'm not in the mood for him. Wait he changed..?
Luna: yep! Here you go!
Me: Luna!! No wait! Damn...
Reiji: Hello. Can you explain to me why you do not have proper safety precautions for Aria? She literally almost fell down the stairs. That's highly dangerous. Just wait till Emiko gets home.
Me: Reiji. First there should be a baby gate at the bottom part of the stairs that should have been up before I left for work last night. Second. I'll be home in thirty minutes so please lecture my sister because she's most likely the one to move it because she's lazy to walk over it. Third. The next time I get called at work for something I'm sure you're more than capable of handling due to dealing with your brothers I will personally destroy all my tea sets you like to be around or use. Understand?
Reiji: Fine. We'll talk about this later. I'm going to make Luna write 'I will not move the baby gate ever.' A thousand times. Now excuse me.

I sigh as I hang up. My god he acts like Aria's father. Though I will have to hurt my sister for moving the damn gate again. I rub my temple as I feel the mini headache forming from this mess. I inform my boss that I need to take a leave of absence due to family affairs and he allows it since I need to use up my time anyways plus I haven't had an actual rest from working so he thinks this is a good thing for me. As I finish the last bit of work for the day and take care of the paperwork for the leave of absence I get another call from Luna.
Luna: Why did you let Jiji lecture me!? He made me write a stupid sentence 1000 times!! And he made me reorganize my room!! Also I can tell Ayato is laughing at me in his stupid kitten form and and and Jiji is so mean!! Making me do things!! Waaaah!!!
Me: Luna...you deserved it. Not only that he is unfortunately the only adult in the house. I know you're very lazy but you do need to pay more attention with Aria. You're a very good babysitter but you get distracted as well. And I'm glad Reiji was there to catch her. I know you're sorry and he might have gone overboard with the punishment but you know how he is. I mean it could have been worse.
Luna: ugh... that's true. Hmm it's kinda weird though. We know they all have soft spots but they seem to show it more around us. I mean let's think about for a second. Ayato and Kanato both changed form when worried about me. Reiji changed due to be worried about Aria. Maybe that has something to do with the form change. Not only that Ayato and Kanato both changed back when they were under stress. Reiji is still in cat boy form taking care of Aria.
Me: that's true. I wonder if it's because they care they are able to change form? We should test it out a bit more. Once I get home. I'm sure Reiji will still be in his current form once I get there. Emi will be home late so we can test the stress thing whether and reiji argue about Aria's safety because we both know that will happen. Anyways see you soon.
Luna: okie dokie. Drive safe!

As I get home I already feel like someone is standing there behind my door. I sigh opening it only to be greeted by Reiji. "Good morning Reiji." I hang up my coat and take off my shoes. "Good morning. At least you have manners. Unlike Luna. As I stated earlier we need to talk about the safety concerns for Aria." I roll my eyes and notice Shuu was laying sleeping on the couch. He had opened one eye and mewed before going back to sleep. "Ah yes. I do recall that. So let me start off with thank you for taking Aria's safety into account. But like I've stated before I make sure everything is safe for Aria before I leave every night and so does her mother before she leaves for work. I understand that Luna is Aria's babysitter when both Emi and I are at work. I also understand that Luna gets distracted. She is a teenager and still learning responsibilities herself. She understands what she has done and will she will not do it again. Because if she does she'll be dealing with me and she does not want that." Reiji's eyebrow twitched. "Very well. Ahem I may have gone a bit out of hand. I was simply worried. Also I would like to say thank you for taking me and my brothers in. As well as trying to help us figure things out." I nod "it's no problem. The three of us don't mind helping. I mean this whole situation is a bit odd but it's quite exciting. Plus you and your brothers are special to us so of course we'd help granted we know how you all are inside and out. So this will be fun learning about each other as well as finding a way to fix this problem." He only nodded as he looked deep in thought. "I'm going to start breakfast. Maybe you should apologize to Luna about going over board because she's Aria's favorite person~ so if Luna is upset because of Jiji Aria will be mad at you~" he looked shocked and went upstairs. I laugh knowing he wants Aria to like him.
