She stared out the bedroom's window that was covered in rain. As the skies tear drops dropped, the girl thought about how much it matched her attitude right about now.

"Honey... Monty is here..." The voice was quiet, which was a normal since the family found out what happened. Her mother was broken and it changed her loud and lovable personality to change to a sad and broken one. Kendell watched as her daughter changed through the days. She didn't understand what had happened to make her hurt the way she did.

The door soon opened, and a head peeked in.

He slowly walked towards her. She watched his every move because she was scared of everything these days.

"It's me.." In his head, he was getting yelled at.

"Why are you here?" Her voice was rapsy. Monty took mind to get some water before he leaved.

"Lilly.... Baby listen too me... Im telling you the truth when I say that, I dont have feelings for Hannah. Why dont you understand that? I cant live without you."

"No." The broken girl had stood up in a heart beat. He cant say that he cant live without her.  Monty brought this on his own. She didnt derseve what he did too her.  "You wouldn't have put those things down if you didnt. Montgomery De La Cruz... you caused this on yourself."

Kendell couldnt help but listen to their argument.  She wasnt a nosy mother, but she wanted to find out why her daughter had become broken. While she listened to the conversation, she heard sobs, pleads, and cries.

"Just take me back please. Im so so sorry. I cant live without you. I need you" Monty had been pleading for the last hour about how he can't live without Lilly.

"Stop saying that. Stop saying you cant live without me. Stop it!" Monty had looked at the girl that kept denying his pleads.

Montgomery had looked at Lilly. "Fine. But don't come back to me when you have nothing. I tried too make it better and you didnt. You gave up on us. Not me." He glared at the floor. Monty was deciding if he should really leave her, when he knew that she needed him. Even if Lilly tried to stop him from hugging her, they both knew she needed him.

Monty stared at Lilly with hurt and anger. Not once did he mess up. He changed just for her. He tried to make it better. Therefore, she should have to deal with the heartbreak. Lilly watched as her boyfriend, or ex boyfriend walked out of her house.

He didn't look back, just like she didnt in the school.

Next Day.

The alarm started making a loud noise as it went off. It had done it's job when the girl with the tear stained face got up.

She had made a plan. She was going to go to school. She wasnt going to let this situation get the best in her life.

She started to get dressed and ready for school, trying to think happy.

Once she was done, Lilly walked down the stairs. The smile on her face felt unfamiliar to her mother. But, Kendall was glad Lilly was trying to get better.

Just outside her house, on the otherside of the street, there was Monty. As soon as he woke up, he got clothes on, and got his backpack and keys. Montgomery didn't plan on staying outside her house. Didnt even plan coming this way. But he did.

He looked down at his phone as he heard it go off.  What he didnt know was that Kendall had seen Monty in his car sitting there. He looked sad, but overall, could fool you to say he wasnt.

"Im leaving mom." She finally put down her lip gloss. Lilly had to have her mom help her put makeup on. Even though she washed her face, you could still see the tears that left there print on her face.

Kendell said her goodbyes to her daughter, as she watched Monty.

As he noticed he was going to be late, he zoomed off. The car had made a screech noise, which made Lilly look up. The smoke from the car made her squeeze her  eyes shut.

Lilly unsqueezed her eyes and got into her car and started her way down to school.

At School

"Hey Lilly." A cheerful voice had filled her ears.

Lilly had turned around to be met with the one person she didnt want to talk too.

"Hey Bryce..." Lilly breathed out as she realized she was going to have to have a conversation with him.

"Whats up? Why arent you with Monty right now?" The questions were confusing her a little.

"What? Now he doesnt tell you guys shit... Wow... Your home boy messed up." After the words slipped out of her mouth, she slammed her car door shut and walked off to class.

On the way too class, she saw him. He was leaning against the lockers smirking.

Lilly looked down.

Why wasnt i good enough?  Multiple questions went through her mind as she looked back up and saw that one of the cheerleaders was kissing his neck.

Did our relationship mean anything too him.

Everyone that knew the use to be couple, noticed something change. Nothing was the same. If the list had never gotten out. Or if he had never even mentioned anything about Hannah or Lilly.

Lilly, still heart broken, had walked up to Montgomery and his friends.

"What do you want Lillian?" His voice was sharp, which surprised his friends. He was always so sweet to the small girl.

"Why aren't you dead yet? Why are you still breathing?" That was all she had said and then walked away.
