I'm trying to think about an good excuse but I couldn't think of any.
Josh sat down and stared at the duck. He looks at me with an confused face.
" *sight* I found it in the park and I didn't see it's mother so I took it with me to go see the vet after we're done at Starbucks" I laughed a nervous but a little silent.
He looked at the duck and said: "why couldn't you find a kitten instead?" He laughed at his own answer. "What are we waiting for, let's go to the vet and remember your drink!" He took my arm and ran out of Starbucks.
We where there right outside of the vet.
"Lets go in" he said opening the door for me.
I walked to the women working there and placed the duck in front of her.
"I found this duck without a mother in the park, can you help me?" The lady looked first at me then the duck and the Josh who was standing right by my side.
"I can see what I can do" the lady said, " but I can't promise it will find it's mom"
