Listen to Landon Pigg's biggest song as you listen to this. Thank you. That is all.

You slammed your head on the steering wheel, accidentally honking because you hadn't turned your car off yet. You groaned in frustration. This weeks finals already had you stressed was that stupid honk necessary? You ignore the weird looks people were giving you and you trudged out into the coffee shop.
It was your favorite place. One because it was very aesthetically pleasing and also because it was cute and little and isolated most of the time.
When you stepped in, you were greeted by a blast of cool air and the comfortingly soft sound of the welcoming bell.
You didn't look at the server, assuming it was a worker that you already knew or the store manager.
"I'll have the usual." You said, leaning against the counter, life drained out of your voice.
"And what would that be?" Your drooping eyes widened as you heard an unfamiliar and accented voice come from the counter.
You blushed as you saw a cute boy around your age with chocolate brown hair raising his eyebrow. You became flustered.
"Oh- I'm sorry I didn't know they hired anyone new. I usually get a dark blend along with a granola bar on days like these. My name's Yuki, you'll be seeing me here a lot." You explained, making hand gestures. You gave him the money in the meantime.
He smiled at you cutely and tilted his head, "Ah, Yuki! You're Japanese as well? My name is Yuta." He quickly took the money and continued talking to you as he prepared the coffee.
"Yes! Can we speak Japanese? Korean is too bothersome, it's easier with my native tongue." You chirped up. You had been tired and disgusting earlier but meeting another person of your race in a place with not much diversity made you excited.
"Sure! Are you eating here or taking this all to go?" He asked you, as he waited for the coffee to blend.
"I'll be eating here." You stated. He nodded and flipped the plastic cover behind the display up and put the granola bar on a napkin. He then pushed it towards you with his ring finger and continued making the coffee as it finished blending.
"Thank you." You nodded, taking the granola and happily munching on it. Yuta glanced at you and laughed and your full cheeks.
"I'm sorry- you just looked adorable." He said, passing you your coffee. You took it and gulped down the granola, blushing and not making eye contact.
"Th- thank you." You swiftly took your drink and granola to the nearest table and took out your laptop and notes.
You sighed and tilted your head for a second then got to work. Yuta stayed silent, except for when another customer came in and made small talk with him, not wanting to disturb you.
--
He had been filling in for people's shifts lately so you would see him more often now. You had gotten to know each other more and when another worker came in to exchange shifts while you were talking in Japanese, you would most definitely get teased.
Anyway, you had learned he was a year older than you and went to college as well. Not the same one, sadly, so that meant you wouldn't get to see each other outside of the coffeeshop. But you had exchanged numbers so that meant you could get in touch more, at least.
You quickly became friends and it was soon that he asked you out. It was actually pretty late for a guy like him. He could ask people out on the second day of knowing them if he wanted to. But he felt different with you. Maybe he didn't want to ruin his impression because you were the only other Japanese he had met since he'd moved to Korea?
But you of course accepted. I mean, who wouldn't? On the day of the date, you woke up a bit too early to get ready for him. He smiled as he saw you all dressed up for the first time. You were almost always bare faced and if you wore makeup, the only thing you'd touch was eyeliner. You always fell asleep studying so you didn't want to ruin your face by leaving makeup on.
You had shown up in a black skirt and a loose gray blouse with a denim jacket thrown on top. You had a purse with you(that you hated by the way, why don't women's clothes come with conventional pockets?) and you wore a pair of round sunglasses along with a big rimmed fedora. Your subtle lip gradient added to your look.
Yuta had come just in time and you quickly and shyly placed a kiss on his cheek as a greeting.
"Hi Yuta!" You smiled up at him and you h admired his simple outfit. A thin white sweater and some black jeans. He giggled adorably.
"Hey Yuki! You ready?"
"I think so." You laughed out, interweaving your arm with his. He smiled and led you to the ice cream place.
--
By the end of the day, you both reached your house, both of you sleepy.
"I really enjoyed today, Yuki." Yuta told you as you lay on his lap, tracing the palms of his hands. You hummed and smiled.
"I really enjoyed today as wELL-" you yawned the last part out and Yuta laughed at you. He pinched your cheeks.
"Cute~" He teased. You slapped his hand away and you stuck your tongue out at him. You were about to say something else but you slowly fell asleep on his lap. It was only about 5, but you got up really early for the date, so you were dead tired.
You smacked your lips and rolled your head to the side as you unknowingly fell asleep on his lap. He thought it was cute and had the urge to kiss your forehead but he became flustered.
What if you weren't asleep? What if you would somehow feel it in your sleep and remember it the next day? What if-?
Dammit Yuta, you're a man!(A/n barely hA) What's a little peck on the forehead? He sighed at himself softly, not wanting to wake you up if you were asleep. What was with him nowadays? He was more shy and less daring than usual. That wasn't normal for him.
Maybe he actually found someone he loved? He smiled at the thought. That would be nice. He shrugged and went for a kiss on the forehead- when your head suddenly turned upwards and he kissed your lips instead.
He widened his eyes and looked down, seeing you asleep. What the? He touched his lips and smiled contentedly. Oh well. I guess I just stole a kiss from Yuki~. Why do I feel weightless all of a sudden?
He carefully got up and left happily, but not before taking his sweater off and placing it on you as a makeshift blanket.
