We're Mates

Paisley's pov
"Your house is beautiful" I said as we arrived at the Cullen's.
"Thank you, I'm Esme." Esme said walking up to me.
"I'm Paisley" I said
"Victoria was your sister?" Esme asked me as we walked into the house. I could hear her thoughts so was trying to trust me but it was hard for her.
"Yes. I haven't seen her in 107 years, then one day I get a call from her saying a coven of vampires murdered her mate in cold blood and that she needed my help to fight them" I said.
"We didn't murder him in cold blood!" Rosalie snapped.
"I know that now" I said.
"Give her a chance Rosalie, she saved Bella's life." Edward said as we all went and sat in the lounge room.
"Can I ask you something?" Bella asked in a small voice
"Of course" I said.
"When you apologised to Edward after the fight, I saw a tear fall down your face. Vampires can't cry, how did you?" Bella asked
"It's one of my abilities. Part of me is somehow else alive even though my heart doesn't beat and I don't have blood. I can cry, sleep if I want eat human food although blood tastes better and I couldn't survive without. The volturi believe I can have children but that one is still unknown." I said.
"One of your abilities?" Bella questioned
"She's a copycat. She can copy anyone's power if they go within 100ft of her and she keeps the copy of the powers forever" Edward said obviously reading my mind.
"I can also sense and take powers away from humans that have them. Like yours Bella, but don't worry I'll wait for you to become and vampire and copy it, instead of taking it." I said
"I have a power?" Bella asked, I nodded.
"It's just dormant until you become a vampire" I said.
"Did you copy Janes power?" Bella asked
"I've copied all of the volturi's powers. Along with many other vampires and now all of the Cullen's powers too" I said.
"You should go see Jacob, he's asking for you" I said.
"How do you know?" Bella asked
"I can hear Carlisle's thoughts" I said
"He's all the way in La push" Edward said
"So?" I asked
"You shouldn't be able to hear that far" Edward said
"There are a lot of things I shouldn't be able to do." I said.
"I'll walk you out" Edward said to Bella I watched them as they walked away until I felt a pair of eyes staring at me. I turned around and looked to see it was Jasper staring at me and as soon as I looked in his eyes I knew why. We're mates. I zoomed over to sit beside him.
"Hi I'm Paisley." I said holding out my hand for him to shake.
"The names jasper hale ma'am" he said shaking my hand, his southern voice and charm almost making me drool.
"This is so incredible. Now everyone has a mate. Welcome to the family" Alice squeal picking me up off the chair to hug me.
"Now I just need to fix your fashion sense." Alice said causing everyone to chuckle.
"These aren't my clothes, Victoria gave them to me because she didn't want me going into a fight wearing a skirt." I said.
"You like skirt" Alice said.
"Yes" I said.
"Oh I love you already" Alice said hugging me again making me feel a little uncomfortable as I awkwardly hugged back not used to hugging people.
"Justin control your mate" jasper said
"Alice let go of her" Justin said.
"Come with me, I have the perfect outfit for you" Alice said dragging me up the stairs.
"Alice" jasper groaned
"Shut up, I'll bring her back when she looks like a girl" Alice said.
"I don't wear skirts" Rosalie said causing Alice to giggle.
"Alice! Alice what's that supposed to mean? Alice!" Rosalie yelled running up the stairs after us. When she got close to Alice's room Alice shut the door in her face.
"I think you look beautiful" I heard emmett say to Rosalie.
"Here put this on" Alice said handing me and shirt and skirt. (A/n picture above).
"How do I look?" I asked once I was changed. Alice handed me a bracelet and I put it on.
"Perfect" Alice said
"Can I speak with her now?" Jasper said from the other side of the door.
"I haven't done her hair yet" Alice said, I gave her a pleading look wanting to spend time with my mate desperately.
"Fine go see your mate." Alice said.
"Want to go for a walk?" Jasper asked I nodded knowing that he wanted to get away from prying eyes and ears. We walk out into the woods once we were far enough away from everyone jasper started to talk.
"You have no idea how long I've waited for you."
"I hope I don't disappoint" I said
"Definitely not." He said and smiled.
"Well I'm glad" I said grabbing his hand causing both his and my smile to widen.
"How old were you when you were turned?" Jasper asked me.
"17, you?"
"19" Jasper said.
"When I was reading Edwards memories it showed me that you were the one who trained everyone for the fight. How did yo know all that stuff about the newborns?"
"It's as long story and one I'm not very proud of I'm afraid." Jasper said.
"I've got forever" I said smiling at him.
"Well I guess it all started when I ran away and joined the confederate army at that time I was to young to actually be in the army so I lie about my age to get in"
"I got myself an army man, huh?" I said with a teasing smile on my face.
"I was the youngest major in the Texas Calvary" he said smirking at me.
