Painful, but bearable

Paisley's pov
"Aro will want us incapacitated before he attacks. Jane and Alec will try and take me out first because I can anticipate their moves." Edward said.
"Too bad we don't all have your shield." Garrett said to Bella
"Doesn't help me fight, though." Bella said.
"No, but you could help the rest of us, ifyou could project it." Tanya said.
"What do you mean?" Bella asked
"I mean shield someone other than yourself." Tanya said.
"Is that possible?" Bella asked
"Gifts can be developed. Over time." Carlisle said.
"At first, mine was just in my palms. Now I can radiate it all over my body." Kate says showing off her electricity
"How do you do it?" Bella says and takes Kate's hand, a little too hard
"Ow." Kate said. Bella lets go of her hand.
" You need to visualize it. See how it moves. What color it is. Now picture it expanding. Will it to go beyond you." Kate said. Bella tries but only manages to bring up her shield for moment
"I think she needs something to motivate her." I said and Edward stepped forward.
"It's all right, I can take it." Edward said.
"Focus, Bella, or he's gonna be hurting." Emmett said. Edward puts his hand up ready to touch Kate's hand
"Edward, I'm not ready to do this yet." Bella says. Kate touches Edward hand, sending a painful electric shock through him
"I'm sorry. I said that I wasn't ready." Bella said causing me to giggle.
"Come on,Bella it can't be that hard" I said.
"You can't control your powers" Bella said.
"I'm pregnant, apparently babies don't like their mummy's to be powerful." I said rubbing my tummy.
"But a bet I could still use your shield if Jasper was going to get hurt" I said.
"Hey, you'd let me protect daddy wouldn't you, baby?" I said looking down at my stomach still rubbing it. "Of course mummy, I love daddy" I heard her sweet little voice say in my head.
"I love your daddy too" I whispered to her, well to my stomach. I looked back up to see all the vampires around me looking at me and smiling.
"What?" I asked
"You can talk to it?" Garrett asked amazed.
"I can hear her thoughts" I said as Jasper walked over to me.
"Weren't you training Bella?" Jasper asked taking the attention off of me. Bella looks back to Kate and tries again to use her power as Kate touches Edward, sending another electric shock through his body making Edward scream in pain.
"Why are you Jealous?" I asked jasper through my mind feeling his emotions.
"I don't like that many men staring at you" Jasper thought back causing me to smile and wrap my arms around his neck and burying my face in his chest.
"You seem to lack incentive. Shall I go see if Renesmee's awake?" I heard Kate ask Bella.
"Are you crazy?" Bella asked.
"All right. This one's on full power." Kate said. I then heard a small groan but it was quickly replace with silence.
"It's painful, but it's bearable." Edward said.
"I could say the same thing about my pregnancy some times 'painful but bearable," I said thinking at loud.
"Come on, we should get you something to eat" Jasper said picking me up and zooming into the kitchen.
"Do you think I could make a cake with blood in it? I want cake but somebody doesn't agree with me" I said looking down at my stomach. "Blood cake sounds nice, mummy" My little baby said.

As the snow is falling, the vampires and Jacob have set up camp in the woods, Jacob brings some wood and drops it on the ground, then Benjamin uses his powers to produce fire from his fingertips and throws it on the woods to start a fire
"That's what I'm talkin' about. A little pre-battle bonfire. Telling war stories." Jacob says and sits next to Benjamin. I look around to see everyone just standing around.
" Or just standing there like frickin' statues." Jacob said. Suddenly Garrett spins in and sits next to me by the fire
"Name any American battle. I was there." Garrett said
"Little Bighorn." Jacob said.
"I came this close to biting Custer. But the lndians got him first." Garrett said. Just then Kate spins in and sits next to Garrett.
"Try Oleg's assault on Constantinople. He didn't win that one on his own." Kate said.
"If you're talking battles, you're talking the Eleven Years' War. No one does rebellion like the lrish." Liam said
"You lost the Eleven Years' War." I said.
"Aye. But it was one hell of a rebellion." Liam said. As the others began to Sit around the camp fire.
"When we ruled, everything came to us. Prey, diplomats, favor seekers. Such was our power. But we never put on white hats and called ourselves saints." Vladimir said.
"We were honest about what we were." Stefan
"We sat still for a very long time. We didn't notice we were beginning to petrify." Vladimir said
"Perhaps the Volturi did us a favor when they burned our castles." Stefan said
"We've been waiting 1,500 years to return that favor. We have been ready to do battle for ages." Vladimir said.
"The volturi killed my eldest sister. They said we were making ourselves to know to the people, becoming reckless. But really they wanted some of the members of the coven, Heidi and me. They used Chelsea's power to get Heidi, but it didn't work on me. They only left me alone when I used Janes powers against her." I said.
"You went up against the volturi?" Carlisle asked.
"They wouldn't do anything they're afraid of me, what I can do. Yet at the same time they want me in the volturi, to spread fear for them after they killed my sister. They got batshit for brains" I said.
"Are you sure you cannot fight with us? What's the point of you turning around and going home now?" Stefan said.
"She's only here because I don't want her left alone more than she needs to be, Jacobs made a deal with Sam's pack she's going to be staying with there imprints. Where it's safe" Jasper said before I got a chance to speak.
"It's in the best interest of the baby" I said backing Jasper up.
"Pity" Stefan said.
