He sat there thinking for 20 minutes where this presence was coming from. It was unlike anything he had ever felt before for only moments his emptiness was gone. He shook his head in defeat he wasn’t going to waste his time sitting here maybe chasing something that was not anything. He stood up leaving his tab to be paid another night. He was hungry and starting to get uneasy he had anger about him if he couldn’t feed.
He was going to have to settle for anything. Usually Zane would take a beautiful woman home Use her for useless sex and feed until the woman was unconscious. At this point Zane was starving he could feel the heat rising on his skin. He heard a clatter from down the alley on the side of the winery, he could sense that one of the staff was throwing out the garbage but the door had mysteriously locked –Zane’s handiwork-
“SHIT!” Yelled Leila “now I have to go all the way around” it was dark and the alley stunk like old food she hated walking through it there was about 4 buildings joined in the alley so it was a bit of a walk to get to the entrance. Zane slowly followed behind her. Rain started to sprinkle down she had no jacket just a white shirt and black spandex pants. Great! She exhaled “as if this night could not get any worse!” Zane let out a chuckle behind her his mesmerizing voice stopping her she looked around her and saw him standing less than 2 feet away. “I don’t have any money” she yelled “please leave me alone”
she started walking faster grabbing her phone out of her pocket. She was ready to call 911 if needed. All the sudden with a big thump she was on the ground it took a couple seconds to come to. She saw him standing above her he slowly got on top of her. Before she could let out a scream for help he had already crushed her phone and covered her mouth with his hand.
Tears were flowing down her cheeks one of the light posts came on at that moment revealing her face and his as well. “why do you still struggle…. Its hople…..” He looked into her crystal green eyes a lump came up his throat and a burning.
He saw her beautiful reflection looking back at him so innocent. She was the presence he had felt. She whimpered looking at his handsome face. His light green eyes slick black hair and chiseled facial features he was the most beautiful man she had ever seen in her whole life….
