Blue POV

So my mom is officially on hush mode with me. Ever since last night she hasn't said a word to me. Even during breakfast, all three of us just sat and ate. The food was bomb too.

But anyway, I'm just up in my room not doing nothing but looking at stuff online. I talked to Mercedes today and she said she was still gonna come by. I'm excited to teach her some things. I told her to wear something comfortable and she kinda gave me an idea of what she was gonna wear. She said she was gonna wea-

The hell? Can't be Mercedes already, she said 3..

I walked downstairs and Chaz came out of the studio that was upstairs and walked down with me.

"Chaz!" Mom called.

We got to the door and our dad was at the door.

I walked over to him "hey daddy!" I gave him a hug.

"Hey Blue, wassup Chaz."

Chaz just crossed his arms and said a simple "sup".

I looked back to him "so what are you doing here?"

"I came to take Chaz out for a little farther/son bonding." he said.

Chaz looked at him like he was crazy "say what? When was this established?"

Mom cut in "I asked him to last night on my way back here."

Chaz just stood there I guess thinking. He sighed and said "man aight give me 5 minutes." And he ran upstairs. I guess he didn't feel like arguing today.

"So blue" my dad started, "how was your flight back?"

"Um it was aight, I didn't really do much. I went to hangout with one of my friends from school and came back." I said.

"Mm" my mom said very quiet. She was just standing there looking at her nails not paying attention to me. She think she slick but I heard it, I don't think dad heard it tho.

"Oh" he said. He looked at me then at mom, then back to me. "Is there something going on between y'all?"

"Umm.. not really, we just had a disagreement last night." I said trying to avoid the conversation.

"Bey..whats up?" He asked her.

She looked at me for the first time today. She shook her head and looked back at him. "Nothing, we're cool."

She might of said it but knowing damn well we not cool. I know she still on hush mode with me.

Thank god that Chaz came down so both of them can leave.

"Aight well see you later. Bye girls." Dad said heading out the door.

Chaz gave me a kiss on the cheek and whisper in my ear "talk to her." I just blankly looked at him. He walked over and kissed our moms cheek and left out the door.

I walked into the kitchen while mom was still at the door. I grabbed a water from the fridge and sat down at the counter. Mom walked in and, as the same as all day, ignored me. She walked to the fridge and grabbed a packet of green tea. She started to boil the water.

How long is she really gonna give me the silent treatment? Like this is fucking ridiculous.

She started to leave with her tea. I got up and grabbed her hand that was free from the tea. She turned around and looked at me. I stared back at her. I interlaced are fingers and pulled her over into the living room. I led her over to the couch and sat down crossing my legs facing her, she sat beside me.
