Exams

Yesterday was hectic. Why do I even care for Caleb. Whatever. I need to study, I think I might try the hardest spells possible. We are allowed to do any spell we learned. But honestly I still can't believe it's been four months! I think
"Can you believe it's already been four months?" I asked.
"I know...but as well we have to do exams...ugh!" Says Lola, looking at her books.
"Hehe!" I giggled.

I tried to act calm as I walked into the casting arena. I had 5 minutes to do whatever spells I learned.
"You will be called up to present your spells one by one! Good luck!" Said my casting teacher.

Finally I was called up, beads of sweat forming on my head. I was gonna do Blue Flames first. I traced a flame on my hand faster and faster, soon there was a good size flame. I traced a stream faster and faster over the flame, soon it turned blue. I pulled my hand back, then thrust my palm with the blue flame at the target. I burnt it down just like I had done the first time. Then I went with dancing jewels. I traced a jewel on my hand faster and faster, when a jewel was there I lifted it. I thought of a more advanced way for it to dance, it did a figure eight around everyone in my class. Then it came back to me and dropped in my hand. I threw it into the air, then a flash it was gone. Then my five minutes where up and I had to go, Lola and I left the casting arena and headed to are dorm.
"How did you do that?" She asked when we got in are dorm.
"Lots and lots of practice!" I said looking at her, "I loved how you did the rain away spell!" I said, remembering how she did an advanced spell the teacher had showed us.
"So...who IS that Ethen guy?" Lola said slyly.
"He is a childhood friend! I told you!" I say laughing.
"Really now!" She said.
"Do YOU have a crush on him?" I say, smiling slyly.
"No! I think you are getting me and you mixed up." Lola said.
"Come on! We have clubs!" I say heading out if the room. I run to writing club, everyone is there already.
"Hey guys!" I say to Mia and Lily. Mia and Lily I meet on the first week, they where in my "Basic Water Spells" together.
"So, you have a Galaxy power? We all saw on the school blog how you took down Caleb!" Said Mia.
"I d-don't really k-know." I sputter.
"So, there is also a new guy in casting for me! I think his name was Ethen!" Said Lily.
"Oh yeah, he was my childhood friend!" I say.
"Oh cool so..." Said Mai, smiling slyly.
"Ugh...." I say slapping my face.
