Making his memory blanket was harder than we thought so we decided to finish it in the morning. Basically a memory blanket is a bunch of pictures put on fabric and then some drawings and stuff that's put onto fabric (when I say "put onto fabric" I mean that the image is printed onto fabric) then we sew it all together and put a little note on the bottom of the back. We just copied a note that the adult Alex had written to baby Alex onto some cloth and sewed it onto the back. When we finished, it had taken a few weeks because it's a blanket being hand sewn.
During those weeks, we cried, laughed, and just melted down. Seeing all of ugh memories of The adult Alex hurt. It was painful but we did it. When we gave the blanket to Alex, he grabbed it and went to the image of Adult Alex holding baby Alex upside down at the park tickling him.
We all smiled then went to get some food. Since Alex was still in the hospital, Eli stayed at the hospital with him. She had basically lived at the hospital since Alex got sent there.
Me and Masson went to McDonald's and got lunch then went to his house. His mom was in the kitchen putting groceries in the fridge. His dad was at work and his brother was at a friends house.
"Hey Miss-"I started but his mom interrupted.
"Call me mom." She said and I nodded,
"You got it mom." I said and smiled.
"Anna and I are gonna go watch some tv." Masson said.
"Ok have fun." She said and smiled.
When we got to his room he threw himself on his bed. "You ok?" I asked,
"Yep just tired." He said and closed his eyes. I walked over and kissed his forehead the set the Xbox up for later then went to take a nap in the floor. "Your not sleeping on the floor, I am."
"It's your home and I'm spending the night. But I will do it on the floor. I just wanna take a nap now shush." I said and he pulled me into his bed and went onto the floor.
In the end we both ended up napping on the floor. That weirdo.
