You focused your attention on the small blue fairy as it flew around finally being able to fly for the first time you have seen her today. You did a quick 360 turn with a giggle still keeping your gaze on her. That's when your gaze landed on Arthur who was watching you with amusement. Instantly you stopped mainly out of embarrassment but then smiled shyly bringing your attention to the building in front of you or rather ride that was in front of you. Your eyes widened at the big wheel as it slowly turned in a circle, no wonder the London eye is known around the world because this thing is huge!!
"So this is the London eye??" You asked hoping to make small talk.
"Yeah," You heard him chuckle only to appear right next to you also looking up at the monstrous ride. "To tell you the truth, it's one of my favorite things around here..."
"Really??" You turned your gaze to him only to find him gazing up at it still in a trance like state. He suddenly snapped out of his train of thought and turned his attention back to only to flash a smile.
"Yeah," He started to walk towards it. "Now come on..."
"W-Wait!!" You hold out your hand accidentally showing your scars again. With wide eyes you quickly dropped your arm while pulling your sleeve down feeling ashamed for showing them again. You waited for him to say something rude like every other person you met but instead you heard him chuckle again only to grab a hold of your wrist, pulling you towards the ride. Your eyes widened realizing what he was planning. "H-Hey!! Doesn't it cost!?"
"Don't worry about that, love," He smiled as the both of you walked up to the ride. He paid for it as he walked onto the empty platform. But you on the other hand stayed where you were, not wanting to get on just yet, mainly because you didn't like heights. He must have seen your expression because now he slowly leaned forward only to grab a gentle hold of your hand and slowly pulled you into the ride. Now terrified seeing that you were on it, you quickly sat down not wanting to be standing when it started to move.
Not even seconds later it started to creak a little until it was moving forward leaving you freaking out a bit as you got higher and higher away from the ground you were just standing on moments ago. Squeaking, you immediately pull your legs in towards your chest leaving yourself look like a curled up ball. You were about to squeeze our eyes shut so you wouldn't have to see the buildings below when you saw him sit across from you with his hands clasped together and was leaning forward towards you with a smile of amusement.
"Scared of heights??" He asked.
"N-Noo..." You lied.
"I beg to differ," He chuckled leaning back looking out over the city as the ferris wheel got higher and higher.
"O-Okay," You removed your head from your legs. "Maybe, I have a slight problem with heights..." Suddenly the wheel stopped moving causing it to jerk leaving you to jump to your feet only to plop down next to him, wrapping yourself around his arm.
"A slight problem, you say..." He teased.
"S-So I'm afraid of heights," You grumbled. "It doesn't mean I don't like this ride..."
"Then try looking out over the city," He suggested, you quickly shook your head no not liking the idea of seeing how high you actually were. For all you know you could just be a foot off the ground but that was obviously a lie. Suddenly you felt a gentle hand on top of your head causing you to look up at him with curiosity. "Come on, you won't know what it's like until you try it..."
