Chapter 3

Lily heard a knock on her door. She drousely shouted "come in!" Her doors swung open and Aaron stormed through them. He walked over to Lily. "Where were you when my party was going on?!" He Asked. "Ask James I'm to tired to tell you the whole story." She said putting her pillow over her head. "I already asked him he told me to ask you." He said annoyed at them.

"Alright!" She said sitting up. "I can't tell you right now." Aaron looked at her confused. "Why?" He asked. "Something just happened in the forest and we had to go home okay." Lily lay back down and fell back to sleep.

Aaron shook his head in disbelief. He walked out of her room and back to James room. He peeked in. James was still sleeping. "Though's twins are exactly the same." He said walking down the Hallway.

Lily ran to the dining hall she was late. Everyone was already sitting. Lily sat down and for once the King and Queen weren't looking at papers or books. They starred at her.

"Morning?" Lily said confused. James was looking down at his food. "So who was the boy in your room?" Asked the King. "He was just a friend asking a question." She said. "he had to ask even before the sun has risen." He said loudly. "I don't know." Said Lily looking at her food. "There's something you're not telling me."

The King slouched back in his chair waiting for an answer. "Fine you don't want to tell me you stay in your room today and no one comes in." "Father please I'm telling the truth." She said pleading. "Guards!" Yelled the King. Two guards walked through the doorway and stopped. "Take Lily to her room and guard her door, make sure she doesn't come out, and no one comes in." He said Looking at James.

James slid underneath table so you could only see the top of his head. Lily shook her head and ran to her room. She grabbed her wand out of her case and touched the windowsill. "Foteini Mageia." She said quietly. She appeared in the garden.

Lily sat on the bridge and looked into the pond. "Aaron would never think of me like that." She said. James appeared and walked over to her. "Hey you alright?" He asked. "No." James sat next to her. "What's wrong." "I can't talk about it." She said putting her head down on the stone. "Sorry about Father." Lily was silent.

"You know I've been reading this book about the Dark Fairies and it said that they can shape shift into whatever they want even objects."He said. "So we wouldn't know that they where here." "Exactly."

James picked up a book. "But there is an object that we can put into our eyes to be able to see them it's called Alitheia Glass." "Alright where is it?" "It's in the dwarfs caves but it's very rare and dwarfs are very greedy." "alright hold my hand." Lily said holding her wand up in the air.

           James held her hand as She closed her eyes and said Kinisi, they slowly faded away. They appeared by a dark cave.

            "We're here." Said Lily, her voice echoed in the cave. Lily walked into the dark cave. James gulped and followed her.

Lily lifted her wand up in front of her face it glowed in the dark. They looked through the tunnels trying to find the glass. They wandered down a tunnel to a chest, James opened it. sparkles shimmered as Lily waved her wand over it to see what it was.

"This is it." Said James. "What do we do?" Asked Lily. "We take one piece for each eye and drop them in." He said dropping a piece in each eye. Lily picked up two pieces of glass and put one in each eye. Light came from down the tunnel along with voices. Lily closed the chest grabbed James hand and ran into a corner, She hid her wand so they couldn't see the light.

            Some dwarfs walked past them and into another tunnel. "Alright lets get out of here." Lily said. "James?" She said turning around to where he was. "James come out right now this isn't funny." She said quietly shouting.

There was no answer. Lily walked through the muddy wet caves looking for her brother. Lily heard dwarfs.

"I bet they took James." Lily peeked into the room she heard the noise in. She saw two people with dark hair and close. They had wings that where black. "Dark Fairies." She said. James was laying on the ground unconscious.

"Jam-" someone covered her mouth. Lily turned around it was Aaron. "Did you hear that." said one of the Dark Fairies. "I did." "It must be one of those dwarfs." "Let's take the sword and leave him for the dwarfs."

Lily started to pull out her wand out of her sleeve. Aaron put his hand on hers. Lily looked at him. "What are you doing." "Wait we don't want to go into this without a plan. Can you crew an illusion?" "Yeah, why" "yo distract them." "Oh okay."

Lily pulled out her wand and aimed it at the floor. "Wait how did you know I had powers." Aaron didn't say anything. Lily concentrated. An illusion of some dwarfs appeared and crowded around James.

"The sword." Said one of the fairies. "We can blow our cover." Said the other. The ran off into the dark cave. Lily ran over to James. She turned him over onto his back. He had cuts all over his face and arms.

"We need to get him home." Said Aaron. Lily nodded. Aaron picked him up and carried him towards the mouth of the cave, Lily followed.

"how do you know this place so well?" Lily asked. "I've been in here a couple times to steel the dwarfs treasure." They walked out of the cave. Lily squinted her eyes blinded by the light.

"Why where you in there anyway." Add Aaron. "We thought it would be fun." "Well dwarfs are dangerous. Don't go in there again." "Yes father." They where silent for the rest of the trip back to the castle.

"Just leave him here I'll take him in." Aaron put him down and walked away. Lily knelt down and touched James. She waved her wand and they where in James room. She lay him down on his bed. Lily touched the windowsill and said the spell. She appeared in her room.

Lily lay on her bed. "They're already here." She said. "What am I going to do? I have no plan and I'm just starting to understand magic." Lily picked up a book and read it. It was a book of spells.

"Why are all these spells in Greek?" She asked herself. Someone knocked on her door. "Who is it?" She asked. "It's mother." The Queen opened the door. She walked in and sat on the bed.

"I hope you know your father just wants the best for you. Don't take his punishments to hard." The Queen glanced over at her book. "Why are you reading that?" "I just thought it would be interesting." "Well I just wanted you to know I believe you about the boy in your room this morning so to make up for that I got you something.

The Queen walked over to the door and grabbed something from one of the guards arms. She put it down on the ground and it ran over to Lily. It was a white puppy with a brown spot over its blue eyes and black spots all over her.

           The puppy jumped up onto Lily's lap and licked her. Lily smiled at the small thing. "Thank you mother." She said. The Queen smiled and walked out the door closing it behind her.
