Chapter 6

        Journey looked at herself in the looking glass. She tied her bland hair up in a ponytail with a black scrunchy. She sighed "I don't want to stay here anymore." She said looking around her crumbling room. She heard laughing outside. She ran to her balcony. She saw two dark fairies carrying a boy. They were laughing as they flew away with him. Journey quickly followed them in the shadows. They came to the border. The two faded through it. Journey flew up to the border and slowly stuck her hand threw. She pulled her hand back then took a breath and flew through. "I'm free!" She flew after the fairies. She followed them to the castle. It was dark and quiet. Journey flew up to the window the two fairies had flew into. The two fairies lay him down on his bed and took out a big syringe and poked it into his shoulder, then they started to fly back to the window. Journey flew up onto the roof and waited for the fairies to be gone. "What are they doing meddling with a royal family." She asked. She flew back into the room. She spotted a welt on his arm. She took a closer look and saw blood coming out with some green liquid. "They poisoned him!" Journey put her hand over his shoulder and whispered therapevo. She took her hand off and his arm was back to normal. "Hopefully that worked." Journey turned herself into a handmaiden and walked down the hall to explore the castle. She wandered to a girls room. Curious she walked in and looked around, she spotted a case with very detailed design. She walked over to it and tried to open it. "It won't open." She put her hand over it and whispered anoixe. The case opened revealing The Wand of the Gods. "Why is this in a little girls room?" She took the wand out of the cases be held it up. As she did the wand shot a powerful protection spell at her. Journey fell back and dropped the wand out of her hand. Journey stumbled back and put the window. She flew over one of the seven forests. "I can rest there for the night." She said. She flew down onto a branch that his her behind the leaves and fell asleep.

"So he has been poisoned?" Asked The Queen. "Yes your highness." They said. "Well that's one less child to deal with. Now how are we going to get the other one?" "We could cause her to hallucinate then she could just fall off a cliff!" Said one. "Or drown!" Said the other. "No I want to meet this girl. What if I go down there and transform into her mother." "An excellent plan your highness." They said disappointed. The Queen pulled out her ball and asked for an image of the Queen. She smiled and turned into her. "How do I look?" She asked. "Terrible." They said. "Yes this Queen had horrible taste."She said. The Queen started to laugh and the two joined in. "Now you two take care of the Queen, I'll deal with the princess." They flew out to the castle. The Queen landed in the Room the King and Queen slept in. The Queen was sleeping on the bed alone. She signaled the two to take her away. The Queen walked down the hall to Lily's room. Lily was reading one of her books. The Queen knocked on the door. Lily jumped startled. "Morning mother." She said. "Do you want to talk about it." She said talking about James. "About what." "James." "What did something happen to him? I mean I know about last night but he seems fine now." "What!" Lily looked up from her book and at the Queen. She relished what had happen. Lily gave the Queen a confused look. "I have something to show you." Said the Queen. "What is it." "Come with me I'll show you." "Okay just give me a minute to put my book away." The Queen walked out of the room and Lily picked up her wand and put it in her sleeve. Lily ran out of the room to follow her. The Queen led her outside of the castle out of sight from any guards. She motioned the two fairies to grab her. Lily pulled out her wand and made a protection shield around her. The two fairies ricochet off of it and onto the ground. "Cleaver. So you can see us." "Yes I can and I know you did something to my brother." So that's The Wand of the Gods." Lily's hands quivered. "Scared little girl." "My names Lily." "Lily's such a dainty name." "Excuse me." The Queen smirked and her eyes started to turn into the fiery green. Lily heard guards coming towards them. Lily smiled watching the Queens  smirk disappear. "I will be back!" Said the Queen in anger. She flew away with the two fairies close behind. They flew back to there land. The Queen stomped over to her thrown and slouched back into it. "So now she knows we can get there she's going to get help now... unless." "Unless what?" Asked one of the fairies. "Unless we take her and, remove her." She said with a smile. "And while we're at it we can take the wand." Said the other fairy." "Yes but we won't use it until the time is right." The two fairies sighed with disappointment. "Now go get the girl and wait until nightfall."
