Chapter 2

Annabeth's P.O.V

The flashback continues

About 3 months later I was sitting by the canoe laks staring at my locket and thinking about Percy. When I heard a scream. I tuck the locket into my shirt and run to where I heard the scream come from. I see Jason dragging a half conscious Nico across the boarder line. Nico had a welt above his eye and blood conning from cuts all over his body and his arm was twisted at a painful angle.

Jason didn't look much better he had bruises and cuts all over his body. His shirt had three big claw marks on them. He also looked ready to collapse.

I ran to them and just in time Jason collapsed and I caught him. I laid him down gently and left them with Piper, Thaila, and some Apollo campers. They had about one hundred monsters chasing them. I helped defeat them it took about two hours. the good thing is no one died.

I went to Jason and looked at him he was worse than I thought. he looked at me with tears in his eyes and as they lifted him onto a stretcher. He whispered,"Couldn't save him." Then he passed out cold. But I knew what he meant. Percy was missing!
