1.What inspired you to write this story?

My inspiration for this story was mainly my interest in greek mythology and how nobody really knew the deep dark secrets about it, and I decided I wanted to write my own version of what would happen if that kind of world really existed.

2. What kind of readers do you think would enjoy your story?

I think readers with an interest in myths or fairytales would enjoy this book, or want to read about romance, or humour, I think its going to have it all :)

3. What is your favorite genre to write about?

My favorite genre to write about is not really specific. I usually write love stories into different types of genres.

4. Have you written any other stories, if so what genre?

I am currently writing two stories besides Sisters of the Sky. One-The Barcode is an adventure/ futuristic novel and Remember Me-A Teen Fiction/Romance

The War Of Transition by BretonJanes

In a world on the verge of scientific discovery, the old ways of mysticism are no longer upheld in society. Sorcerers and magicians are persecuted in the greatest purge in history; a bloody civil war where the side with the greater numbers will emerge victorious. This is a time for alchemists and scientists, explorers and scholars. A time for rogues and assassins, political strife and corruption among kings and noblemen. A new age is over the horizon, but just who will survive this grand transition, this bloody divide, is uncertain. For when science and magic collide, no one is safe.

1. What inspired you to write this story?

I think my main inspiration to write this story was George R.R Martin. I read his series "A Song of Ice and Fire" and fell in love with the genre instantly. I couldn't believe what the author had done, and I wanted to do something similar. So I created this story. I've found it surprising how little science is used in mainstream fantasy so I wanted to incorporate that side of it, an unknown and rather unexplored area of the genre.

2. What kind of readers do you think would enjoy your story?

Fantasy readers :) But only a certain type. If you like monsters and fairies and dragons and tales where the hero undertakes a quest to a distant land, you may not like my story. My fantasy novel is about a very dark civil war, and none of my characters are wholly "good". Readers who are fans of dark fantasy and epic war and political tales will definitely enjoy what I've written.
